Awesome upload. My family name is Hobby and is derived from falconry in the middle ages. Falcons are on our family crest with a helm and a lion.

I love the handmade basket however I believe that the folks who made it found the flaw and will be making it wider and the edges lower so maybe next season all chicks will survive I’m so grateful to all of you for doing your best I appreciate the dedication as well as the videos can’t wait to see new basket design thank you

@JuneWood-qh5py Thanks a lot for your nice comment! Yes, the basket is a little too high and I think it will be improved next season. There was no problem with baskets in previous seasons, so the design from previous years should be adapted to improve the basket next season. Have a great day! ❤️🥰

You got the scientific name of the eurasian hobby completely wrong, its correct scientific name is actually Hypotriorchis subbuteo.

@indyreno2933 Thank you for your comment. I have encountered the name Falco subbuteo in several publications and thus, I thought that it is the correct name.

@BirdlifeOdyssey, actually, the Falco genus is polyphyletic, there are now only three extant species within the genus: the Merlin (Falco columbarius), the Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus), and the Taita Falcon (Falco fasciinucha), while the other forty-one extant species are moved to twelve separate genera, Ortygoraptor for both the African Sooty Falcon (Ortygoraptor concolor) and the Asiatic Sooty Falcon (Ortygoraptor persicus), Erythropus for both the Western Red-Footed Falcon (Erythropus vespertinus) and the Eastern Red-Footed Falcon (Erythropus amurensis), Hypotriorchis for the African Hobby (Hypotriorchis cuvierii), the Eurasian Hobby (Hypotriorchis subbuteo), the Oriental Hobby (Hypotriorchis severus), and the Australian Hobby (Hypotriorchis longipennis), Sylviaetus for only the Eleonora's Falcon (Sylviaetus eleonorae), Asturaetus for the Brown Falcon (Asturaetus berigora), the Grey Falcon (Asturaetus hypoleucos), the Black Falcon (Asturaetus subniger), and the Kareara (Asturaetus novaeseelandiae), Odontorhynchus for the Aplomado Falcon (Odontorhynchus femoralis), the Bat Falcon (Odontorhynchus rufigularis), and the Orange-Breasted Falcon (Odontorhynchus deiroleucus), Hierofalco for both the Saker Falcon (Hierofalco cherrug) and the Gyrfalcon (Hierofalco rusticolus), Hierokestrellus for both the Lanner Falcon (Hierokestrellus biarmicus) and the Laggar Falcon (Hierokestrellus jugger), Griseaetus for only the Prairie Falcon (Griseaetus mexicanus), Turumtia for both the Indian Red-Necked Falcon (Turumtia chicquera) and the Sri Lanka Red-Necked Falcon (Turumtia ceylonensis), Dryonisus for both the Northern Rufous-Necked Falcon (Dryonisus ruficollis) and the Southern Rufous-Necked Falcon (Dryonisus capensis), and Kestrellus for the North American Kestrel (Kestrellus sparverius), the Central American Kestrel (Kestrellus caribaearum), the South American Kestrel (Kestrellus cinnamominus), the Common Kestrel (Kestrellus tinnunculus), the Lesser Kestrel (Kestrellus naumanni), the Fox Kestrel (Kestrellus alopex), the Rock Kestrel (Kestrellus rupicolus), the Greater Kestrel (Kestrellus rupicoloides), the Grey Kestrel (Kestrellus ardosiaceus), the Dickinson's Kestrel (Kestrellus dickinsoni), the Seychelles Kestrel (Kestrellus araeus), the Mauritian Kestrel (Kestrellus punctatus), the Newton's Kestrel (Kestrellus newtoni), the Banded Kestrel (Kestrellus zoniventris), the Spotted Kestrel (Kestrellus moluccensis), and the Oceanian Kestrel (Kestrellus cenchroides).
