As a PK myself, this interview had me in tears. I needed this, more than I knew. I’ve tried so hard to walk away from the church and the ‘church hurt’, but there were moments when Bishop’s son started talking and my spirit was convicted. He took me back “home”. This was a great interview! Great discussion and insight. I loved when Ed pointed out that church leaders can point out EVERYTHING wrong outside the church but can’t point out what’s wrong inside their own church! Wow!

Great interview Tasha! As a former member of New Birth this interview with Ed Long Jr was refreshing. I would like to mention that God has a purpose for Dr. Bryant's role at New Birth. The debt on that church has been sliced in half. They have given groceries to 1000s of people during the pandemic. The community service at that church has gone through the roof and the fire is back. Please keep an open mind about him when conducting your interviews regarding anything related to New Birth. God knows exactly what He is doing.
Community service is one thing but Jamal Bryant needs prayer and correction before he leads that church astray anointed and gifts are not the same
Bishop Eddie Long will always be my internet Pastor. I miss him so much. But I did get to meet him when he spoke at my church in North Carolina. I always wanted to visit his church. I continue to watch him on RUclips. I love my now Pastor in NC. But Bishop Long just does it for me as far as his teaching. I will forever love your Dad. He was sent by God. To help not only me but many others. I will always feel that his sickness was due to that scandal. Stress and worry can bring sickness on us. Stress is a silent killer. I just wish that none of that happened. But it just is what it is.
Absolutely my spiritual father for 30 years. There will never be another like Bishop Long. I miss him terribly!!!!😢

Bishop Long 's Ministry also helped me during a time of Transition to a New State (Charlotte,North Carolina) and dealing with my Mother having Dementia eventually Alzheimer's. Watching Taking Authority on Sunday's those Sermons gave Me LIFE during that trying time. I hate how Bishop Long was Vilified, Glad to see his Son, Setting the Record Straight. I will be getting the 📖.

What’s sad is that no one talks more about Bishop’s innocence in all this. The negative rumors, what I call lies seem to have more strength. I hope one day the boys are forced to tell the unadulterated truth. No one’s legacy should be tarnish like this. I loved the ministry gift God bestowed Bishop Long. I pray that there is not another Great ministry goes through what Bishop experienced at the end of his life.

Tasha needs a TV show. That man looks nothing like Eddie long. I saw Eddie Long with my own eyes, walk through the Atlantis in the Bahamas,with a gang of young boys surrounding him. I'll never forget the anxiety in his eyes when we locked eyes. At that time I thought that anxiety was created by him being in the casino.
I always admired Bishop Eddie Long. He taught me so much at Newbirth Lithonia. He taught me how to fight. He will lead a March in a minute for Justice. He led his Kingdom as a True Leader, and your Last Service was Wearing The Crown, such a powerful message. It was so heartbreaking. Keep your head up, Edward. You have a king in you. They can not destroy your annointing. Your Bloodline was too strong. You have already been equipped. Continue to LIVE your Father Legacy in the SPIRIT!

Yes he has changed my life and many. I visited his church many many times and read his books. I was sorry things went bad for him in the end. God still used him mightily.
God used a DONKEY as well. I would suggest we follow the GOD OF THE BIBLE and NOT man. The apostles NEVER had a mega church....ALL the MONEY collected was REDISTIBUTED to those who had need (as told in Acts). I'm going to need people to actually READ the BIBLE. Come out of these beast institutions, called "churches". YOU are the temple in which God dwells. There isn't much time left....ask The Most High for the truth....you won't find it in these churches.

I enjoyed this interview as Bishop Eddie Long was my TV Pastor. I had my church Pastor and I always watched my TV Pastor for the word. This Pastor was a man of God and a great teacher. I watched him to the end as he was always uplifting to me throughout my life. Blessing to his son and just downloaded this book on Kindle. Thank You Tasha K. Tasha funny a reality personality taking over the church
There is no such thing as a tv pastor ...if you mean a stranger talking to you about Gods word ..okay I get that but a pastor is meant to be more personal ..someone that you can be accountable to and someone whose life you can watch and learn from ..

Eyes tell a lot about a person I don’t know of this man but he has a genuine good aura.
I still think he’s trying to get over the hurt and shame that incident caused. It’s hard going through something tragic, especially when it changes your life and it’s life altering. His dad’s ministry did great things and brought so many lost souls to Christ. This young man went through a lot. I wish him well

Bishop Eddie Long impacted my life too. When all that mess came out about him then he got sick it really shook me. But... gift come without repentance, thats in the bible. A person can be in sin ans still able to operate in their gift from God. God can use anyone. His work was not in vain. I hope he was able to get things right with God before he passed away. No matter what the truth was.

I’m originally from Trenton New Jersey but I’m in TN now and a deacon at my church met with the bishop Eddie long years ago at his church and he told me and my mother a story three years ago that I will never forget

@@dee27206 make a long story short he went to the church to talk about construction. This was around the time of the allegation. He mention how He walked into Eddie Long’s office. The deacon told us office had three doors and one of the doors had to a bedroom in it.

You would not and could not have ran my family out of the church my father built. If Pastor was so guarded respected regardless of a rumor the congregation wouldn’t have left or told the family to get out voted out however. Somehow something was possibly done and won’t be revealed and the family is not releasing details of their husband fathers indiscretions if he did commit sins against members of the church. God bless and heal all affected.
