May wanna listen to Sissel as an afterthought. she's my goto numeral uno female artist. probably because of her tremendous range & clarity. She's the "hummer" on the opening of the movie "Titanic", btw. Celine Dion did not have the hauntingly LOW range necessary that Sissel possesses (even though Sissel is a well renown world Soprano). She also sings in 15 LANGUAGES and speaks absolutely perfect English with NO British dialect... AND she's Norwegian. she's NOT a "studio" based artist though. yeah listen to her here...

I grew up an Elvis lover because of my father, who passed away when I was 17. He performed as Elvis for his school where he was principal, church activities, birthday parties, and Christmas caroling. Such cherished and sacred memories that you helped me remember of my dear father. Elvis would be SO proud of you! I know we are remembering him as his only child, Lisa Marie Presley, joined him recently. May they RIP together and have been reunited again. You have such a radiant splendor about you and your voice is majestic to help everyone feel loved. Thank you SO much for sharing your angelic talents, Lucy Thomas!

The last time our "song" was played for us was at my wife's second home "The grand hotel" at Machinac Michigan. We had to leave the dance floor because my wife was in to much pain to finish. This was our 20th year in a row but on the boat home my wife suddenly said " I believe that this is the time we will ever be at the Grand again". Every time I hear this song I cry as my wife of 44 years died shortly afterwards. Hearing this song performed by Lucy Thomas makes it all tbe harder as she is a singing angel sent by God for all of us to hear.,
Your memory of Macanac Island! A treasure! I live very close and visit there often. My Memory there! One of my mothers last things she wanted to do was to visit the Grand Hotel overlooking some of the most beautiful sights in the world. Her visit was memorable and that was the smile she had last. Nice version of Elvis’s song. I remember trying to sing it to my wife in 1969 when we had been dating for about a year. We were blessedly married for 46 1/2 years. She died 2 years ago and every time I hear this song, it brings a tear to my eyes.
