I forgot to mention this in the beginning of this video. I don't know a lot about those two dance styles. Like I said in the video I took a few classes and that's it. That's all my knowledge right there. So if I made mistakes about the characteristics of the dance I'm sorry. This video actually inspired me to get to know these dance styles better and I watched the video for starters were Rian (Chung Has Choreographer) & Ran (Mother of Vogueing in Korea) created the choreo. So if you want a more true detailed explanation I recommend strongly watching that video! (Link in Bio). Again this video I posted was just my first reaction and explaining all the knowledge I had at that moment. In the future I will also make it a little bit more clear in the video. When I don't know a lot about a specific dance style since I thought I didn't make it clear enough in this video. Hope you still enjoy it!☺️
To answer what you were wondering, they're professional dancers. Most of them have known Chung Ha for years. They're all like a small little family actually.😅
The two lady dancers on her left and right is if im not mistaken the choreographer for this. Rian is the one with the tatoo. All the other ladies are also in fact her really close friends and has been with her since her debut (and more).
@@brainswag Rian is a complete genius!! She did choreo for idle and alot of chungha's dance. I think the other lady, Rian went to her to get advice for vogueing choreo.
It makes me so happy to see someone as big as Chungha incorporate such hard and beautiful dance styles into one of her songs. As a dancer I use a lot of Voguing and Waacking in my routines and free styles and seeing Chungha perform with such perfection and technique makes me fall in love with the styles all over again. Many idols are taught how to Vogue and Waack, but they often only pull moves from those categories out for solo dance breaks, or free style dances. Sometimes choreographers will use moves from Waacking to add flare, but other than that their is really a lack of representation. Often too the time given for dance breaks and free styles isn't hardly enough to really show the beautiful shapes and amazing effects the body can make when using the two styles. I hope Chungha helps bring Voguing and Waacking to the forefront of K-Pop choreography.
I’m not knowledgeable in dancing but I always thought that Chungha makes the prettiest lines with her body, she always looks amazing. She’s talented and knows her moves, there are compilations of her free styling and going viral because she’s so good. She just looks incredible no matter what and has so much energy.
I really love how natural and genuinely giddy your reaction is! the huge smile on your face while you watch is so endearing, and it really makes us feel proud as fans of these artists. I also really like how you point out things about the choreography pretty briefly and go back again later! like when you pointed out how beautiful her lines her, it was really nice and brief, but you were able to elaborate later on by going back after a first full watch. sometimes people lose the flow if they continuously break for long explanations (though i’ll never complain about getting all that info when they do).
