One thing to consider in this limited format is if you have only one card which cares about the day/night cycle, it may be wise not to play it at all. Once the cycle starts it keeps going for the rest of the game, so if you start it and your mediocre werewolf gets killed, any opponent who can use that cycle better than you may just get it to be night for free.
I've been smoking jerky and storing it in the chest freezer to eventually be shipped as Christmas presents to the distant family members. Closer ones get ribs, pulled pork, brisket and smoked salmon care packages.
If your sludge monster is bounced and returns, or dies and you cast another one, the slime tokens are still on characters right? So the things you slimes before get turned back to 2/2s?
Yeah, MTGA is not like MTGO. It won't let you respond to your own triggers/spells unless you put a stop or do full control. I've punted a lot of plays because of this.

Why is it when I watch the streamers draft I rarely see the kind of mana flood / screw that I always get? Tonight I drafted three times. Each time I got to three wins and either had around 75% - 80% lands or approx15% lands in first 15 cards. This is why I quite arena, before. People will argue this but when you're consistently drawing 8 lands in a row in a 40 card deck, always at around 2 or 3 wins..... something is super fishy.
I understand. But to be fair, even in this stream, the opponent got so mana screwed that they just quit and similarly, LSV too bricked hard. I think it happens to everyone but sometimes maybe on avg. it might happen to you more.
Thats just how rng is supposed to work. Sometimes you have bad luck sometimes good luck. People tend to misremember how much luck or bad luck they receive
@@slungellife I think people do tend to only remember the bad, and ignore the good. However, when I quit playing about a year ago, I had compiled a record of land draws using an excel sheet and used that data to calculate the probability of getting these kinds of hands, repeatedly - the probability was in the billions or trillions, I don't recall exactly. I sorta decided that I would just ignore it - it is what it is - the shuffler is being rigged against some/all people for some reason, likely to limit profitability of drafts or to increase sales, or both. However, it's still super frustrating and it dawned on me, last night, that when I watch the big streamers like LSV or CGB, what I experience is with mana screw and the regularity and predictable timing of it is not something I often see with those streamers - makes me wonder. Really makes me wonder.
@@RCTricking That could be the case with ranked or something, but not with draft. Plotting land draws and the predictability of draws isn't superstition. Drawing 11 lands in 15 cards, or 2 in 15, with predictable regularity after 3 or 4 wins isn't superstition. I'm not a statistics expert, but I did find a site that allows for you to input the number of cards, the numbers of unique cards and their quantity, and calculate the probability of drawing the sequence of lands or total absence of lands. The probability was so astronomically improbable, one can only conclude it's being manipulated. This isn't a small sample size, either. And, this occurrence can also be compared to hand shuffling paper. I think if it happened once in a while, like it does when playing paper, it'd be easy to dismiss it. However, with Arena, it happens most of the time after three or four wins in draft. That's highly suspicious due to both the regularity and the timing. Superstitious? No suspicious.
Black has been unimpressive to me in this format so far. There are many good Disturb creatures running around that black just doesnt handle very well. Blue and green have so far stood out to me as best colours. Shadowbeast sighting is such a house
I played two drafts in total. One with black as a primary colour, other with black as secondary. Both decks went 7-2 and black was a powerhouse when it came to removals. Defenestrate, eaten alive and the 1B lose two life kill spells all performed very well for me.

So annoying when people use twitch content to make RUclips videos. I don’t want to hear someone thanking subs for the first ten minutes and saying random things to his subs throughout the video. It’s unprofessional and makes for horrible content for people on RUclips. Step your game up man….
