Hinata had plenty. Intro is her with Chisa. She also did most of the post chorus and when she was a giant. Pay attention to where the camera is focusing on her. And don’t forget, her ad-libs are key to the chorus parts. I’m a Hinata bias and I never had any problems with line distribution. She gets to shine whenever she needs to
Yeah, I'm sure there are plenty of Hinata biases who think she got plenty. I want the Hinata verses and bridges though, I get that background stuff is important but after Losing You it was disappointing after hearing what she did in that.
HInata recently confirmed that she's also singing the second half of the first chorus. She does get enough lines and if she has no issue with getting less, then why should we?

After hearing what she did on Losing You, we would have liked her to have more vocal presence were a bit let down that she didn't get more. Not every Hinata bias feels the same @MarkCalica and that's 1000000% fine, It's all personal preference. We're all ALPHAZ here! The song was GREAT regardless.

Yes! This is the video I was waiting for! A new XG comeback isn’t complete without you two! And I knew I could depend on y’all to appreciate Jurin’s beautiful voice.
She sounds AMAZING!!! We knew about Coco (and of course Maya) but Jurin sounded FANTASTIC. Hope we get to hear more of all of their vocals going forward!
Hinata sang many parts of the song, she didn’t was shown doing it but her voice is clearly her when she sing, just put attention to the part she’s she’s outside the building, that’s her voice
They (the video director/editor) made the same "mistake" with Hinata's lines in the Winter Without You MV. It wasn't until the First Take that you see how much she did.

Yep, and that's the drawback sometimes of releasing single songs instead of a full EP. Different songs are going to have more parts for some and less for others, we just have to wait for those songs to be able to really judge the line distribution.
I wonder if Simon is doing this on purpose. With XG i make no demands and just enjoy what they give. Hi-chan is the glue for XG songs and imagine doing all the adlibs live... that's a lot on her. Awesome reaction!🐺🛸👽
I agree with you, Hinata should have sing the second part of the chorus and gave her a proper time screen to shine , cause it feels like she just become a secondary character, not the main character in the music video like other members.. hoping in the next music release she will get a fair line distribution and proper screen time 😊

I know how you felt guys hi-chan has less singing screentime i think there is a reason, remember their caption says "where is hinata?" before the premiere of S.A.R i know simon has something up to, you know him he likes to caught us offguard and surprise us maybe in the next mv hopefully we will see more hinata cause she deserve all the love and admiration 💎

I think during one of their XG Days or XG Xtra they bought a frog that they said "looks like Simon" It might be that same frog.

With this much members on the group…The song should be at least 4 minutes plus to have all the members even distribution of the lines.
I just want a Hinata singing verse 😭but do agree, they can't split everything equally (although I do miss 3:30+ minute songs)
You have to understand this is a full choreography song. The girls will be performing all their songs live. Hence some songs are short. I do agree this song could’ve had another verse or so.

As a Hinata biased Alphaz *sigh* I thought things would change after the Losing You cover but here we are.
I agree with you guys that I’m often left wondering why certain lines aren’t given to Hinata considering she’s a part of the VOCAL line.
I love my girl Maya and she kills it but I’ve noticed that she’s treated more of a vocal member than Hinata in certain songs. It’s not just the lack of lines but screen time as well. There was a whole outfit from Hinata we didn’t get to see. Unless they’re planning on releasing a special version of the MV later on.. it doesn’t make sense.
I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes and Hinata cleared up some confusion on her blog but I hope she and XGALX realize that we love her voice and her presence.
If this many people have said something that means that something ain’t Right! Usually, the complaints are minimal but most people noticed this time.
Edit: this is just one track on the album so I will put my torch away but I hope it’s not a common thing

They don't show her singing but she is. They used her more in effects for the video so you don't see her singing 🎶 but if you listen you can hear her. Try filming an ant singing. 🤣😂😂😂😂

I’ve never seen it mentioned so this is only my theory about the frog. In the last episode of xtra xtra they are interviewing Simon in his office. He is talking about the painting Hinata did then they ask about the frog on his desk. He said Chisa bought it because it reminded her of him! So maybe Harvey’s frog is a representation of him? It not the same frog though.
We don’t know . Hinata seems alittle more shy and reserved than the other girls. She might ok with it. If I was part of the vocal group and chisa and juria are the other two, I might be a little hesitant. I don’t know 🤷🏽. She’s still my bias
Hinata does have lines, for example the opening of the song, but she’s not shown singing any of them

100%, she even confirmed it in her blog. Testament to their vocal mixing that if we don't see them singing in the mv, we can't tell if they're really singing

Same, she's Sydney's bias too and she was disappointed too! Luckily we have a mini album coming and it's just one song so hopefully the others are better line distribution wise!
Their was a theory she missed a day of MV filming, hence less screen time, but she got a lot of lines, she is just the vocal glue of the group, so it's harder to distinguish her voice at times.

For the Hinata discussion… Mayyybeee just mayyybee the song was recorded awhile back around the time the other songs were recorded and is just now coming out… Hinata did not have too many lines in any of those other songs either. Losing you was probably recorded more recent which shows her skills and mastering of the English lyrics, pronunciation, etc. At least I’m hoping that is the reason…

Simon-san will appear as the eighth member of XG, with long hair and Hinata's blue hair, shaved on one side and with COCONA lettering, Harvey-colored lips and Jurin's outfit in Undefeated. 😂 Remember, anything is possible with XG!
I watched at least 3 line distribution videos and HARVEY was dead last in all of them.
However she had the only Rap verse but not a Singing verse like Maya, Cocona, and Jurin had but she had more screen time than Hinata.
Unfortunately you also don't get to see Harvey's eyes until the white outfit due to those glasses.
So as a Harvey bias I am pretty disappointed as great as Harvey's rap verse was, her part was just too short.
That's valid too, I felt like maayyybee they could have given her another bar and cut Maya's second part a little bit but Maya's part fit in so well. Maybe add another 8 count to Harvey's rap and keep Maya's part the same and make the song 8 seconds longer.

@ktwinzreact7915 it will always be the same problem, when HInata and Harvey get more lines in future songs, then it will be Maya or Cocona fans who will come out to complain that the girl didn't get enough lines.
It's not really that big of an issue though, people are allowed to question it as long as they're not degrading any of the other member's while they're voicing their disappointment. People keep wanting to turn this into a "solo stan" argument and that's not where we're coming from at all. Also, don't let what other people think ruin your opinion on anything, we're all fans here. I think if you ask the average XG fan they'd tell you Harvey and Hinata get the least amount of lines, it's not meant to be controversial, it's the truth.

I've read somewhere that Hinata asked to have less lines bc shes not comfortable singing in English as the rest of the members
Naw chica you right Hinata is my queen but got some adlibs and she started the song but my guess is that she's the least comfortable in English. Shuhua from (G)-Idle stated herself that she perfers getting her one liners in her songs because she's not as confident in her abilities. Maybe the same with Hinata and English
We used to be on the "she's not comfortable" bandwagon back when we first got into them but "Losing You" changed my perspective. If she can sing like THAT on THAT song...We can't seeing confidence being an issue but that's just us.

@ktwinzreact7915 that point is also quite valid, remember Hinata always gets the best scenes in the MVs and there hasn't been a song except X-gene where she hasn't been at the center of the choreography for at least one of the chorus, that should count too,no?, in puppet show she literally the Master

You mean Hinata's parts in Winter Without You? She ate her part in the bridge up, WWY was the appetizer, Losing You was the main course and now it's like we're getting dessert with this, still good BUT I want more main course. Not stressing about it though, we have more songs on the album.

time and time again with almost every release besides puppet show/left right... simon and the team continue to give hinata literally nothing. i always try my best to understand that oh she just isn't comfy with english but thats complete bs after seeing what she did in Losing You. i really don't get it. love simon and every one involved in writing these songs but man.. its really disheartening not letting her get a shine on these new releases. grl gvng barely any lines.. new dance.. tgif.. tippy toes.. undefeated.. shooting star.. like its crazy to me
If Hinata is not complaining, then she might know something that Alphaz dont.... I felt like Simon is playing mind games rights now.... Hinata biases are all going nuts in this MV for not having her more lines.... Imagine, she's the only one not in the office scene dancing because she's giant outside the building.... I'm expecting a surprise in the next song.... I trust Simon.... XG will reveal something and It might blow us away 😁
For me, they are underutilizing Hinata. She has an incredible voice and incredible charisma. When I saw the video, I couldn't believe she had no lines beyond the pre-chorus.
My guess is that these themes (music) were already done a long time ago (years?) and the lyrics assigned the same way. Recreating the lyrics at the last minute to add Hinata I don't know how complex it is, but it seems unfair to me.
Continuing with my theory, Hinata didn't feel comfortable with her English before, maybe for that reason in the letters that were written, they minimized her participation to the minimum.
My bias has always been Cocona, but the more I watch and listen to XG, the harder it is for me to choose one over the other.
I also think Harvey has been underutilized, reduced to two rap lines and a pre-chorus.
Hinata sang few parts in the song, she just wasn't showed singing those parts in the mv and this makes the viewers think she didn't (on few line distributions videos I wacthed Harvey was actually the member who sang the least)
