My tribute to RUclips guitarist Steve Reynolds who sadly passed away 3rd January 2021.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
All footage in this tribute is of Steve Reynolds playing his beautiful instrumental’s, taken from his RUclips channel.
I had to do this tribute because Steve was one of the first guitarist i discovered here on RUclips and indeed you inspired me to start my own channel.
As we all know Steve loved Hank Marvin and The Shadows.
He emulated Hank perfectly. He was a very talented guitarist.
We will all miss you.
The clip at the end of this tribute was a livestream for lockdown he was kindly doing for his subscribers and friend’s and Steve’s final upload.
I enjoyed his channel very much and I am deeply saddened by his passing.

It has since been confirmed that Steve passed because of Acute Cardiac Arrest. Thank you to Carl Bywater for confirming this as I know many of you had asked me what happened.
So sad to read this news, brilliant guitarist, he will be sadly missed, keep the videos coming.

I only learned just now that Steve had passed away. That is indeed tragic. I loved his music as did so many others here. My condolences to his friends and family.❤❤

I am 73 and starting to learn to play guitar. I have only just found out that Steve has passed away. Condolences to his family. I will miss his lessons.
Such sad news. I've only just discovered Steve's channel looking for advice about getting the Hank Marvin sound. His videos were a revelation to me and I am deeply shocked by his passing. This is a fine tribute and I would like to pass on my deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Steve got in contact with me going back around about the time just before he passed and I still have that email some place.
He had some idea about doing an album or something like that, I cannot recall exactly what it was, but there was no way I could commit to anything because so much was going on at that time.
I'm not really sure If I ever replied to him, but I would imagine I did as I do not ignore anyone.
Funny enough It was only yesterday one of his vids popped up and I learned from a comment on there that he had passed over.
Shocking! I shouted out N0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being a father as well is fricken tragic.
I never met him but from what I've seen of him he sounded a really nice bloke..

Steve meant more to his followers than he ever knew. We all felt comforted by knowing there was Steve in the world - he got us through the bad times.

Well, Steve’s passing is a shock. This is a beautiful tribute. I never met Steve in person but I had bought some tabs from him and made a donation to one of his charities. He always replied to my emails and I am still using his tabs. I was going to see him and The Wannabe Shadows in Lydney, not far from where I live, but Covid stopped that and of course now it will never happen. Condolences to all concerned. Colin.

Steve had so many guitars....expensive ones that he can well afford...but as a simple man, he loved a Squier the most...the Simon Neil Classic Vibe 50....and it makes no difference the sound...he played it like a Fender Custom Shop run....Heaven is so lucky to have your music.....rest well Steve.

Lovely Tribute to Steve, I do find watching Steve very hard now as it makes me feel really sad. Steve was a big help to me when i had a stroke 6 years ago, he helped me with guitar related question and we just stayed friends ever since and talked on a weekly basis. Unfortunately i never got to meet him person which will be one of my life regrets. Lovely talented young man taken to soon x R.I.P Steve

Deeply shocked by this news.....I followed his uploads and learnt a lot about the niceties of playing the melodies of the greatest guitar group of all time.
Achieving the tone of Hank's strat is no easy jig but Steve could do it.

A great tribute to Steve. He helped me no end with learning guitar and started late in life but he gave me positivity when ever I sent an email for advice. I for one will miss him very much as will a lot of other people. He was one of the greats and inspiration to a lot of guitarists. Heartfelt condolences to all his family and friends. He is missed already by loads of people, but hopefully his wife and family will be pleased to know how many people loved him. RIP Steve.

My sincere condolences to all of Steve's family and friends
They say the Good Lord only takes the best, he certainly did this time but why take someone so young. Steve was not only a very talented guitar player but also a kind and understanding human being. I didn't know Steve personally but the sad news brought tears to my 78 year old eyes. I will miss his live streams which made this terrible time just a little bit bearable.

I'm really shocked and wish I could met him personally. I will miss his music on YT an hope the channel won't be closed and his music can stay alive. I respect the privacy , but I think many people ask, why he has died at this young age and if it was a desease or an accident. My deepest condolence to the family from Austria.
