The best TV series I've watched.. No one can replace RDA as the original Macgyver.. missing my childhood days..my childhood hero.. where can I watch the original Macgyver again? in 2021?
i watched every single episode of macgyver too. macgyver touched me on mental and spritual level. with him being the humanitarian that he is. it always made me feel good looking up to him. i had many of my family members die including my dad. But one episode that piqued my interest in particular was passages where macgyvers grandfather dies. it also made me feel that of my grandfather when he died i cried for that moment realizing how much i missed him and all the memories he brought me.
The episode is called "Passages" and for me it was also emotionally and spiritually strong because I was doing mourning for the death of my grandmother and it was my 15 years. It is one of the episodes that I love the most.
Still remember that particular night. I was 10years old. I cried my heart out that night. Next day at school we were all sad.... Love you macgyver 💚💚 for giving me a happy childhood.
Shows like this simply aren't made anymore; turn on the TV today and all I see is so called "reality" crap about loudmouths in kitchens, wannabe singers who win a singing contest when they aren't even a good singer, and dancing competitions with celebrities in need of a more camera time on themselves to revive a fading career. I wish the networks would come up with actual original shows again. And thank YOU, Richard Dean Anderson.
i was lucky that i grew up in the 80s with shows like this one. My faves are Macgyver of course, Miami Vice, Moonlighting and Simon and Simon. Was a great decade for TV back then. They just dont make them like this anymore.
I was 5 years old when Macgyver was airing with newly released episodes. It was my highlight of my week each week they were released. I'm now 41yo and just Binge watched as many episodes as I could on Pluto stream. Like other, this last scene gave me goosebumps and made me very sad. The "Thank you" that Richard had was touching. As a 5yo till 10yo boy as it aired, Macgyver was my idol. There was no other individual that was more of an idol than he was. It would be a dream to shake his hand and tell him this.
2019 here... Nostalgia, I grew up watching this, such an awesome and irreplaceable show... Thank you for showing this clip I dunno how did I end up here... They don't do series like this anymore just a bunch senseless reality TV.

@Samson 92 ya and it is a stupid joke.
l Loved MacGyver and the ending was Really Touching From Richard Dean Anderson.
I watched most of the show as a kid...one of my favs of all time...you can even learn actually tricks in life by watching too.
Still remember that particular night. I was 10years old. I cried my heart out that night. Next day at school we were all sad....
Love you macgyver 💚💚 for giving me a happy childhood.
Macgyver is my favorite actor since 1985 much love to Richard dean Anderson ♥️
He was my frist tv star😍
i love you MacGyver u r my childhood hero
That gets you right in the feels and is the reason why we love the show so much. Honest, appreciative, and loving.
You know how many things I MacGyvered in life. I owe him everything
Ditto
how classy for Richard to thank the audience. Bravo, man, bravo....
i was lucky that i grew up in the 80s with shows like this one. My faves are Macgyver of course, Miami Vice, Moonlighting and Simon and Simon. Was a great decade for TV back then. They just dont make them like this anymore.
Still get teary eyed when I see it
brought back childhood memories. loved this show
I was 5 years old when Macgyver was airing with newly released episodes.
Onions damn these onions! :(
2019 here... Nostalgia, I grew up watching this, such an awesome and irreplaceable show... Thank you for showing this clip I dunno how did I end up here... They don't do series like this anymore just a bunch senseless reality TV.
The last episode should have been a final showdown with Murdoc.
That would have been awesome. I feel like he was a bit waisted in his final episode
@@ATOK_ They knew this was the last season and they left the Murdoch storyline unsettled not smart
Always brings me back to my childhood. Never killed anyone just incapacitated the enemy I wish the future was the same. His most powerful weapon was his mind. Long live this fantastic show.
I'm from Spain and here we love MacGyver too.
Dont you ever change MacGyver
He won't beacause he lives in our memories.
I’m not going to lie here; I grew up years after MacGyver ended, but I grew up with the reruns, and this is legitimately making me cry
one of the best Actors and TV Series in the World. I miss That.
This for me is the first ever tv show i've seen were the lead actor thanks the audience for 7 great seasons. How cool is that. I watched MacGyver when i was a kid. Awesome show!!
Thank you,MacGyver..
Thank u, for all the good memories richard :))
Now that's a proper series finale. The hero rides off and everyone's happy.
"Good things never changes ",Never changes MacGyver ,great !!!
Good bye Mac .. this scene actually breaks my heart ! 😢
I remember watching "MacGyver's" final scene when it was fresh... I was five years old at the time and a HUGE fan of the show. When he and his son drove away on their motorcycles, all I could manage was a tearful "Goodbye, MacGyver..." while waving... Then, once it was all over, I just lost it... :.-(
I'm watching this scene, as a 53 years old, and it gives me chills.
Ngl got pretty emotional when Richard Dean Anderson thanked the audience 😭 what a fantastic show and great legacy this show has left behind. You'll never see anything like it nowadays
If RDA never left Macgyver we wouldn't have his wonderful portrayal of Jack O'niell. So really, this was a blessing in disguise. Also, a fantastic and heartwarming ending to an amazing show.
