Years ago when my daughters were younger (they're in their 30s and 40s now), I frequently sewed velvet dresses for them and purchased a pad for ironing velvet at JoAnns (it was their only option for ironing velvet.) This was not made of needles; it was made of high pile velvet. It produced inferior results. I'm so happy to hear there's an actual velvet ironing tool for the home sewer that works. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I truly appreciate it.
I had a flannel pajama which it have hair on both side I shortened the sleeves and pants now it looks funny somehow , I want to iron it but afraid to destroy it forever
@@lacreashiabulls Steaming it could be an option but be careful. You don’t want the end of the steamer to touch the velvet or it will bend & crush the pile. Be sure to do it from the back.

@@sallofatani Is it a flannel cotton? You can iron flannel cotton. Maybe put a pressing cloth on top to be sure you don’t singe it.
bagus banget
@@riskiokta9329 Thank you for watching. Happy ironing.
Could you double layer the velvet pile inside, or will it still crush?
@@midnightqueen3332 From my experience it will crush.
Wouldn't it be easier just to steam it

That's right
