    Can i ask something regarding bulk poly. Why you said there is a coupling or combination for two active chains and we already have added a chain transfer agent that terminated the growing chain or you mean that any remaining active chains will combine i hope you got my question thank you dear

      Rightly pointed... polymerization is a dynamic process so possibility of coupling or combination of two active chain end even in presence and after addition of chain transfer agent can not be completely eliminated.

    If initiator is water soluble it means it is hydrophilic .. then how it will enter in micelle ???

      a water insoluble initiator will form a micelle of its own so there will be no reaction or atleast it will form a large aggregate so several initiator will enter inside the micelle leading to very low molecular weight. A water soluble initiator will be highly disperse and since only one or two initiator needs to enter the micelle to start the polymerization which can happen through probability so using water soluble initiator will be a wise choice for emulsion polymerization.
