It helps rewatching the scenes, pausing them and re-reading also helps but otherwise I think you 2 are keeping really well tbh sukuna looking down on mahito is one of the most memorable and pure AURA moments in this season for sure!
Just wanted to say this, Junpei falls into a category of humans that have a Cursed Technique(CT) but can't use Cursed energy. That's why Junpei was a "normal" person, we also know Mahito has his CT which changed Junpei and rewired his brain to match other sorcerers, so he could bring forth his CT in conjunction with the jellyfish shikigami. Great reaction btw

The way you guys feel about not catching certain things or feeling like its just full speed ahead is probably just how Gege(author) writes and conveys Jjk, I had a similar problem at first.
To explain some things: 1.) In episode 10 where Mahito and Nanami fight in the sewers, it was explained that Mahito cannot be damaged unless you strike his soul directly. Since most people (including sorcerers) are not aware of their souls, it is not something they can attack, making Mahito virtually invincible to 99% of sorcerers. Yuji is able to attack Mahito's soul due to the fact that he's aware of Sukuna's soul within his body, which gives him awareness of his own soul. 2.) Junpei was always a pawn in Mahito's scheme to manipulate Yuji. Mahito wanted to force a situation where Yuji would have to call upon Sukuna to help him. We saw this when Yuji called Sukuna out and told him he would give him his body if he heals Junpei - this is EXACTLY the contract that Mahito wanted, however, what Mahito didn't know is that Sukuna had already made a pact with Yuji to take over his body on his command - remember, Yuji was forced to forget about this contract. Sukuna refused to take over Yuji's body because he already has a contract that he wants. This is only known to the viewers and not to Mahito or anyone else.
2) wrong, if Sukuna could get permanent control over Yuji’s body he would have done it, but he didn’t do it because he couldn’t. Mahito himself stated that the damage made by his CT is not something that can be healed with reverse cursed technique because once the shape is changed the soul will remain that way unless mahito chooses to fix it.
@@Kal911if you actually read the manga you would know that sukuna rct is capable of healing the soul but i agree at that time he probably was to weak due to only having 3 fingers
@@SB07143 no, because mahito doesn’t wound the soul nor he damage it, he changes the shape to the point the body cannot withstand the change and basically collapse. Sukuna couldn’t use RCT to heal junpei because that was his shape, not a wound, the outline of his soul were changed so he couldn’t heal him. For instance Sukuna could repair a damage to the soul caused by itadori punches because he damages the soul, but he couldn’t heal the effect of mahito power.

To hurt mahito you have to hit his soul. You can punch his body but it won’t affect his soul. So yuji having another soul inside him makes him naturally aware of his own soul. So he’s able to hurt mahito. So if you don’t have awareness of the soul it makes it really hard to take out mahito it’s one of the big reasons he’s a threat. And his curse technique can one shot you if he touches you with his palm.

It's because of Nanami's Cursed Technique. His CT divides his opponents in a section of 10 spaces and when Nanami strikes the "7th" line he essentially hits a weak spot that is reinforced by his CT and Mahito calls Nanami the 7:3 sorcerer because that's the ratio his technique represents.
You should watch them in Dub, i think that way you guys might be able to understand it I think you guys watching it in Sub really makes it seems so fast for your guys but it isn't that fast when you Watch the Dub
