Wow! I have never heard of serving the dried fruit mixes dry. Can you do that for all geckos (I have mourning geckos currently, thinking of the neons for my next enclosure I'm prepping)? That would save me a lot of time, mess, and disgusting-ness. I also saw a guy offering a little dish of calcium powder 7nstead of dusting the insects. If that really works then my whole life is changed. Lol.

Hey I’m getting little white balls of mold in my bio active tank, it’s spreading all over under the soil is it bad for my gecko? Is there something I can soak the soil with to kill it that’s safe for my gecko?

can you share a link to "light puck"?

Not trying to speak for Robert but these are the lights a lot of us use for smaller enclosures, and I believe they are what are on his tanks. They were originally halogen bulbs but have now switched to xenon. I also included the dimmer link. As he mentioned, this is an invaluable accessory which allows you to fine tune your output to get the temps you want. Only issue I have found is that if you have the dimmer set very low, the bulbs will not always come on when the timer switches on. You have to find that minimum “on point” and then adjust your basking distances accordingly. I will also add that I have some of his offspring in my collection and his animals and service are top notch. Hope this helps...

Do they not make the halogen puck lights anymore? I can’t find them anywhere. Only LED, which don’t get nearly hot enough for a basking spot lamp.
