Hi, Steph. Another (much older) Steph here. First time watcher. I've been looking for a good jacket pattern to make my quilted jacket and so I clicked on your video and am so glad I did. This is the pattern for me, but I also like the scalloped edges and all of the most excellent design features you chose. I even learned a few new things and you inspired some ideas! You're hilarious, goofy, fresh and real, and have a new subscriber and fan. You are an outstanding representative of Stephs worldwide. You have my gratitude and I remove my hat for you. 🧢 Well done.
I'm curious where you got your cute tags. I believe this is one of the most adorable quilt coats I've come across! It's adorable, as are you! I myself have made quite a few. I never tire of them!
Hello I am drinken an oat milk cappuccino while watching this. This turned out SO cute! I love the pockets, so smart! I was thinking about this pattern as well, fun to see your take on it :)
Looks amazing!! What size did you go with? Also, did you have trouble with the sleeve having too much ease? I made a toile of this jacket and it gave me so much trouble so I’m scared to waste my quilt on it 😅 thanks!
it looks amazing! often quilt coats are a bit big and shapeless but yours is so pretty and you used the details of the quilt so well :)
Thank you!!! I let the quilt guide me a bit that’s for sure!! :)
I love the way you did the pockets. It was a genius move!
@@elviraberry2942 thank you!!

Very cool. It was nice to see how much effort you put into the coat because of the effort put into the original quote. Good job!

If the duffers dont get in touch to hire this for next season there is something wrong. So so good.
I bought a black quilt from TJ Maxx, and spent christmas weekend sewing it into a big duster jacket. It's possibly the greatest thing I've ever done.
This was such an amazing project to watch come together 😍 It fed my love of upcycling and perfect details and it was TASTY
hahahah i'm glad you enjoyed it!! :)

Hi! I've got a question: how did you bias bind the collar seam? I can't see properly in the video how you did it - but it looks so pretty!
It was bound by sewing and folding down flat kinda like a flat felled seam. I also turned in the edges before folding down. 🫶🏻 hope that helps!
I don’t like the bulky quilt, but this one is beautiful ❤
You didn't really show a close up on the completed cuffs., can you do a short showing those?
Where can I find the pattern?
