Winter on the River Sub 2022-2023

The Canadian Pacific River subdivision is known for its meandering course along the Mississippi River. The River sub, as it's known locally, features some sizeable trains, numbering a couple of dozen every day.
The line also hosts an Amtrak train each way each day. This train is the famous and popular Empire Builder. The train gets its name from James Hill, the founder of the Great Northern Railway, who was nicknamed the Empire Builder.

At about 10:20 it appears to be another DRUbit tanker train.

In that opening train are you providing lighting or is there street lighting that bright? Reminds me of those O. Winston Link B&W photos. Thx

That’s my favorite local company - Benchmark. They’re my favorite because they have a very bright parking lot. Makes winter a little more passable with the ease of catching night trains. A guy said it was cool to park there, but he was a night shift employee. Night shift has different rules sometimes
