@@EnVA6360I think instead of God being the main antagonist I think Azrael might be a potential antagonist which makes sense since he is the "angel of death" and would be a dangerous enemy to not only Charlie Morningstar herself but to even Lucifer since well, Azrael is considered to be the most powerful angel perhaps even more powerful than Adam.
@dragonfire4527 and perhaps the archangel Michael would be the one who would have the most depth in the story where he would be an adversary who would show Charlie more of the bad side of his father, and would also be someone that Charlie would have a lot of difficulty facing ideologically by putting his ideas in favor.
@dragonfire4527 and Azrael could be a dark parallel to Charlie where he started out genuinely wanting to help others but after doing so much he ended up getting tired and realized that death and mercy were giving up on his ideals in the process.

Weird question: If there were to be a live action adaptation of the show, who would you want to direct it and why? My choice is Guillermo del Toro because it fits perfectly in with his idea of finding humanity in monsters.
