@@Dethcrush, ah yes, that. I can only imagine how many first-time players opened that out if curiosity at low levels only to get killed like that cat in the old idiom.
I re-played the original Baldur's Gate last year but I wasn't able to finish it... nay, I didn't want to finish it, that's quite it. I'll start it over again soon, that's what. This said, these tavern songs are unforgettable; never forgotten, never will be.
I fancy myself an RPG Tavern music connoisseur and expert, with the Baldur's Gate Taverns topping my list. My thanks to you for a quality upload... now: Time for some good Dwarven Ale!
I keep getting this copyright claim on my Baldur's Gate playthrough videos by Big Score Music when this song is played in the video. Has that happened to anyone else? I'm trying to figure out if they own the rights to any of the other music or just that one tavern song. LOL.
There's nothing stopping anyone from filing a fraudulent copyright claim on RUclips, people make successful claims on Mozart because they recorded themselves performing his music, in spite of the music their target used being old public domain recordings. These could be the guys who own this music, but I have my doubts, Google's system (which they say isn't automated, but 100% is) is so open to abuse that leeches constantly go around scraping ad revenue from people wherever they can.
i will love Baldur's gate forever.
Me too
Thank you for posting this
I used to spend some time around in the taverns just to hear the music
Once upon a time in Athkatla, a lich followed me into the tavern, summoning a demon who slayed every bystander while this song was playing.
The Crooked Crane?

Daggerfall’s tavern music is probably the only game that tops Baldurs gate’s in my opinion
"Ye want some whiskey?"
One of my favorite songs in the whole BG series! Thank you so much!
"You want some whiskey?"
"I got some cheap beer for ya."
"Bauh, I gotta stop dippin' into me own ale..."
I am the big fan of this series, thanks to you for collecting all of these beautiful songs~ may the Spirit of D&D and Black Isle(R.I.P)lives forever~
This song is derived orginally from 'Courant, of Harte diefje waerom zoo stil', by Jacob van Eyck; circa 1619-1657.
❤
I cannot hear any similarities in it. Checked the music score of his whole Der Fluyten Lust-hof and it doesn't seem to be in it.
Fun Fact: This track is actually recycled from the infamous Descent to Undermountain, where it was the theme for the Yawning Portal Inn.
Thank you for sharing the info. Has a different touch to it.. Like the band time traveled to the future and record it in a studio or something. hehe
Mon auberge est aussi propre qu'un derrière d'elfe !
LUL est bonne quand meme cette blague
Hey, don't click me! I don't want any trouble!
my hotel is as clean as an elven arse

Does anyone know the track for the marketplace/festival? It was a bit similar to this music.
I can't recall that one actually, but I'll try and hunt it down
One of the most coolest song from one of the better RPG game ever made! ;)
This'll get those Tavern Wenches twerking in no time! :D

It’s good for a sequel, but not as good as Tavern Music II, and certainly lacks the gravity of Tavern Music I.
