So I was at a day camp, Sergei was running it, gave me some compliments on my coaching - which was really cool I asked the mid 40's Belaglosov, two hip replacements, to work that technique, he did, and rolled up an ASU wrestler.
godsthunder26 He sure is! His ability to flow from technique to technique is not only seamless but overwhelming to his opponent as the points are rolling up relentlessly. Hard to believe he is doing this to a 3X NCAA Finalist. Crazy! 😲
2 time Olympic Champion 1980,1988, 6 time World Champion, 1 time 2nd place of World Champion 1979, 4 time World cup Champion! I think maybe 1984 Olympic Champion! Great Wrestling in the World!
The Soviets did not bring their team to the 1984 Olympics. They boycotted in retaliation for the US boycotting in 1980. It seems reasonable to think that if they had competed, it would have been 3 golds for Beloglazov.
Belo used to annually trash Barry Davis in the same fashion, sometimes WORSE, if you can actually believe that. Truly one of the great Soviet technicians, a master!
Со стороны смотришь, всё так легко и изящно, в ноги прошёл, в партер перевёл, перекат сделал, три раза покрутил соперника. А в реальности такое сделать архитрудно.
you guys have nothing on me. he is actually one of my coaches for wrestling. I'm in high school and he coaches me along with Tom Hutchinson. I live in PA man
Not a pity. Wrestling can help all, it should not be stored away only for those in your back yard. I love all wrestlers, I do not care what flag they carry.
Now why on earth would you say something like that? Finally I found someone to come out and bluntly write that fallacy. First of all, they are different styles, one isn't better than the other. there are just preferences. Second of all, if we DO talk what we prefer, I'll add some reasons why I prefer folkstyle. Collegiate or folkstyle is, ironically, much closer to Pancrase and ancient styles than the so-called Greco-Roman (invented in the 1800's), and freestyle (invented for the modern Olympic games, again in the 1800's, one reason was to make it safer). You don't see may combat skills allowing the opponent on bottom to just lay there like in freestyle. Folkstyle on the other hand, is MUCH more like a fight... that's why so many folkstyle guys have done so well crossing over to MMA, just as I predicted back in 1993. I do agree that freestyle has some spectacular-looking technique, when something actually happens. But it's just to unrealistic compared to where all this stuff came from; fighting. If a guy lays there on the ground like in freestyle, you could just pound the crap out of him, or in the wild or the street, kick his head in. It just doesn't make sense... and looks more like a game. When guys from Canada came down to wrestle folkstyle against us in N.Y., they were used to freestyle, and though some of them did well, once they hit the mat most of us beat them as convincingly as Beloglazov does above in HIS favorite style. The Russian are awesome; never denied that. BUT they trained in that freestyle all their lives and it's their JOB back in those days. The country actually sponsored and took care of them. I would HOPE they could beat a foikstyle guy trying to get sponsors and having a night job, at freestyle... in freestyle!!
I fully concur Folk emphasizes actual control, and riding for the pin is an EXCELLENT tool in actual fights!!! I can't recall how many times in actual real situations a lil Folk style two on one wrist allowed me to control grown men like they were children with no chance. Folk style crossfaces come in handy, as well as far ankle pries to flatten an opponent, and keep him there in real combat situations. Nurgomadev's wrist ride ground n pound is simply a rehash of an old MMA trick used by great wrestlers like Couture too ruclips.net/video/WlpxuEUsXWs/видео.html.
There've been many folk wrestlers with great throws, and sweeps from folk Ed Banach, Randy Lewis, Kendall Cross, and Gene Mills come to mind immediately!!!
Folk style technique from top and bottom wrestling do translate over to a fight but on the feet wrestling freestyle is more realistic on how to apply wrestling technique in a fight because of the point system(getting more points depending on takedown) and what I learned through experience your center of gravity is usually higher sitting low in down block position in folk style is not very applicable to wrestling position in fight
Beloglazov =GOAT
Shut your dirty mouth.
Это тот случай, когда благодаря братьям Белоглазовым, борьбу хочется смотреть
