    @7:12 - I would NEVER join a Guild that asked me to do an application. I play the game to have fun, not to treat it like a second job. I'd rather not RAID at all then deal with that mess.

    Sardaco, my favourite HC killer. Idk how many raids he managed to kill with his terrible tanking.

    I ran the 2nd best guild on my server. I realized it was basically like being an unpaid CEO at a startup. Even after having captains and resumes and interviews I realized none of it would ever calm down. It was a constant ever present giant list of responsibilities. So to anyone who raid logs, doesn't get world buffs, doesn't buy consumes, doesn't farm pre bis, doesn't know fights, doesn't know their own class rotations I'd like to say a nice big fuck you. They are the ones who bring it all down and cause the work.

      man you are one of those that turn fun game into unpaid olympics, have a big f you. pay me, then ill treat it as a job. pay me premium and ill will work on performence

      I legit can't understand how some people manage to do this for years and for free...
      i was a healer officer from Classic phase 1 launch up to mid TBC, in a guild that was good but nowhere near super tryhard (best we had was like...server 7 BWL or something like that) ... and that almost destroyed my enthusiasm for the game...
      While i was doing barely anything compared to GM and first officer, it was a constant handling of people asking the same questions over and over again, explaining why enchanting intellect instead of +healing was a bad idea, handling loot disputes (always the same 2 people complaining...90% of the guild was super happy with everything)
      When TBC released, and the raid size was almost halved (and yes...was super fun having to explain to the people that were cut from the new raid size why that was the case...) i took the chance as soon as possible to step down...
      luckily the first officer was also a healer, and with fewer people overall it was made much easier to keep everyone happy, but i just couldn't be asked anymore to receive messages in the middle of the day asking if i "could get on discord to talk about X Y Z as soon as i got back home"...
      We've continued as the same guild up to now, with the overall team composition we had in TBC... haven't missed being an officer one single bit

      @@Diskhate can you explain why people should treat game as a job and even excel at it when you not even paying them as well?

      I hear you. I was the main tank / raid leader and two years of that burnt me out on gaming so much that I dreaded logging in just to hear the litany of complaints, guild drama, publishing DKP tallies, etc. I quit my post and wasn't long before I quit the game totally. I've played many other games, and have been an officer in most of them, but never went back to those leadership roles again - my eye still twitches thinking about it.

    Cataclysm Heroic raids are not in the same stratosphere as Mythic raids. Raiding got insane in WoD onward.

    Pretty easy to tell if you want to play cata. Do you enjoy having to do minor mechanics to get loot and etc? If so you’ll enjoy it. If you enjoy not having any mechanics and just parsing with world buffs it’s not your cup of tea.

    Yea SoD and cata are just retail -

    • @Cozmoz79
      @Cozmoz79 14 дней назад +2

      Correct.
      Cata is the start of Retail.
      SoD is Retail light/minus or w/e you want to call it.
      There is no "classic" about Cata, naming it that way won't change the facts and the devs more or less admitted SoD is just a test for Panda remix.

      @Super_Burrito 13 дней назад +1

      @@Cozmoz79 they call it classic because its an older version of the game meaning it's a classic version of the game. Might not be a classic to you but its a classic to a good chunk of us.

    I can't stand sweaty guild leaders and officers. Classic is where it's at. Thia crap isn't as common. The community in Classic WoW is the best part. It's usually 40 something's that bought the game in 2004 or 2005 reliving their glory days. At least that is my experience. I was happily running thru an area in Classic Wow and stumbled upon some people having a random conversation in the forest. I walked up and joined right in on the conversation. We told jokes and talked about some random BS for ten minutes. This NEVER happens in retail. Long live Classic WoW.

    Staysafe: "I got a 100 players ONLINE everyday".
    Well no shit Sherlock. You're a known content creator so obv they get their flock of sheeps automaticly because they wanna be seen with a content creator.
    Just look at people like Asmongold or PewDiePie. You think they ever need to really work their hide off for stuff? No they get items, gold, boost etc thrown to them when/if needed.
    As for me, Cata is (start of) Retail. I did not stop play Retail, to go back to it again because we all know what that did lead to and P3 killed all hype/fun for me so not playing P4 SoD either.
