I have an MTO Rogue 17 and I love using mine crossbody! I use mine the way you mentioned where the crossbody strap is clipped on the same side of rings and that side lays against my body. I’ve never had the bag rotate while using it but it might be due to it being the smaller size. I do have the rogue 25 as well but I tend to use that one as a top handle only. I will say that the bag I usually reach for is the Coach Tabby Messenger because it is much easier to wear and use, it’s less fiddly. The rogues are just arm/shoulder candy for me! Thanks for the review Brandon! ❤❤😘
Eye candy for sure! They are such stunning bags. Thanks for dropping in the comments and hanging out 😊
Great video. I LOVE the Rogue. I carry mine (30 or 39) with the longer two shoulder straps on it (and the shorter ones tucked in) as a top handle. I hope that makes sense.
Your rogue is gorgeous and makes me consider trying one of the larger ones! I think they also have taller top handles, which I would also enjoy. Thanks for dropping in Gene!
Love how the rogue looks and the design of it overall. But I never felt it was one I would want because I don’t think it looks great crossbody. The compartments and pockets look useful in theory but in practice i don’t find it practical. This is for the size 17 and 20. In the 25 and other bigger sizes, yes these compartments can come useful and they make sense. Thank you for the video! I feel validated in your review as to why I never owned one as a Coachie 😊
I was just about to buy a Rogue 20 ! Thank you for this review. I’ve not able to see one in person so this is very helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Let us know what you decide - I’m curious how others end up feeling specifically about the 20. Seems like the 25 is a crowd pleaser.
Excellent review. I've tried the Rogue 25 and it hasn't worked for me. Thinking of trying the 20 or 17 to see if I like them better. I love the boxy look of the bag from the front but I've never liked the wavy way the zipper is designed on the sides. I think the width of the 20 is disproportionately wide compared to it's size, too. Yet still, I'm drawn to them. 🤷♀
Thanks Autumn! Coming from a pro like you that means a lot 😊And I totally know what you mean - the rogue 20 is just not my favorite, but I still find myself looking at every new version that comes out and seeing if I need it 😂
Great review Brandon. I have a Rogue 25, i never use the shoulder and crossbody straps, i agree with what you said about those straps. I am content using the top handle. I love my rogue though, i just think it's not for everyone. 😊
I wonder if the handle size is different between the 20 and 25 - on my Ruby 25 I don’t have issues with the top handle, and I think they use a handle from the Rogues. I will have to investigate next time I’m at a Coach boutique. Thanks for dropping by Aisa! 😊
I have about 13 rogues in my collection and 2 of them are in the size 20 and I love them. I agree that the rogues in general are not crossbody friendly, the newer rogues (4th generation) like the one that you have let you fold down the handles to the outside of the bag so that should help with wearing it on your shoulder. I also added extenders to my straps and that helps a lot too 😊 great review
Thank you! I definitely want to explore some of the larger rogues in a softer leather. They are gorgeous bags!
Brandon I so appreciate your honest review. So sadly the rogue 20 is not a good size I agree. The rogue 30 is a WONDERFUL size as a shoulder bag. Handles are larger and it’s more rectangular and slim to tuck next to your body. For me I like MJ totes for the one compartment aspect.
I totally agree! I should have said the MJ mini tote would be a better choice in this size. Even though I’m partial to the small.
I agree with everyone good review. I've wanted a 25 for years and I'm saving for one... I have the same thoughts about the 20 .... i have a dreamer which has the same layout. I'm thinking now I should go to the store and try it on to see if my hesitation is founded in a size 25
You speak really well. I like listening to you. Hahaha!! Anyways, these are very good points! I was looking to purchase one due to the sale, but now I have second thoughts. Thanks for this video!
Awe you’re too kind - glad my review was helpful! Hope you’re able to try this bag on before you make your decision 😊
Hi I am a new subscriber. I love Coach bags. And I just stumbled up on your Chanel. Glad I did I am thinking of the new 20 they just released.
Rogues def do better as a bigger bag and primarily as hand carry. I use the 'Mint & Serf' graffiti version of the Rogue 39 for work and it is the perfect size for someone 5'8. Fits the laptop, large water bottle, snacks, etc perfectly. If I have to carry extra things then I would use the double shoulder straps to free up my hands.
The smaller bags imo are meant to be specifically hand carry and not to be carried as a shoulder bag for extended periods of time. They're cute but sort of like a Lady Dior or other top handle style bags, it's not the most practical for all day.
I went to the coach store to get a rogue 20 in glovetanned leather and silver hardware but it wasn’t for me. I agree with your comment about the straps and since I currently have a cashin carry tote 22, the layout is quite similar and actually fits my agenda and kobo. Love the look but the rogue 20 is not for me at this time 😢 I bought the rogue 12 instead😂❤
lol the rogue 12 is so cute! It reminds me of those TikToks when it’s time to pay the bill but all you’ve got on you is your micro bag with a lip balm 😂
Great review Brandon, I mostly agree with what you said about the straps. I’ve got the Rogue 25 and the cross body strap is wider and therefore better, but I feel the design is more suited to being carried using the top handle. I like that there are so many strap options. They’re gorgeous bags and the 20 looks so cute parked on a table or chair - really makes a statement. 😊
They really are gorgeous bags! I almost wonder if I had gone with a 25 if my overall opinion would have been much different. But I just couldn’t say ‘no’ to the plaid!
i feel so seen but i am so sad. i have wanted a rogue for so long but i recently got a 20 and i am having similar issues. i love looking at it but i am thinking of returning and just waiting for a spring colored tabby instead. i am going to think about it a bit more because i got an amazing deal and it is beautiful. it has been so uncomfortable for me to use so far. very sad but i can admire from a distance!
I’m so glad I’m not alone! The 20 is just…not it. I would say a soft tabby in a fun color would bring me just as much joy to own. Hope you find a good solution!
yes i loooove my soft tabby! I am thinking of bring a regular tabby 26 or a pillow tabby into my collection. I'm just waiting for a color that intrigues me. I sadly had to return the rogue but the more I tried it on the more in my way it felt. Beautiful to look at on others tho!@@BVPDX
I felt exactly the same about the Rogue satchels, then I purchased a Rogue Top handle and found heaven💕
Everything that you found lacking about this bag is the reason that I have not purchased one. I also hear that the larger sizes are heavy even when empty. Love your video. Lets me know I am not crazy in my findings.
I can imagine the Rogue 30-39 weigh a ton empty! There is so much material and hardware in these bags. Thanks for sharing, too! Glad there are others just as skeptical about the Rogue as I am 😂
I think they are beautiful bags but don't have one, they are a little too boxy for me and I have downsized so much in the past couple years. I don't wear bags crossbody but even on the shoulder I hate when the straps hook on that way.
I just got into coach and honestly at the beginning I didn’t like the Rogue style however is growing on me but the bigger sizes! I knew deep inside that handbag is look a fuzz in the smaller sizes lol! Love your content 👽
The bigger sizes for sure! Thanks for commenting 😊 I’m glad you like my videos, it means a lot!
love your style!
keep doing you man.
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for the video. I’m thinking about a rogue. Hmmm
Try one on if you can! It’s a very divisive style I’m coming to learn 😂 and now with them being on sale, it’s very tempting to keep trying until I find the perfect one lol
But it is a nice looking cinder block. 😂 Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛
The most beautiful cinderblock 😂 thanks for dropping by Suz 🥰
Great review. I agree the bag is too boxy. I do like the color.
The color really is amazing! I want all the bags in plaid 😂
This is a really good review.
Would you compare this bag to the Marc Jacob The Tote in mini/micro?
I would love to! I don’t currently own a MJ mini, but when I add one to my collection I can definitely do a comparison. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the video!
So no to the cinderblock bag lol got it!
😂😂 lol yeah, it’s for the best.
Thank you 👍👍👍
good afternoon brandon🌈🌞
Hey Devin! Hope you’re doing well 😊
I never knew I could be so annoyed by someone saying the word "park"
