I don't think I would've ever discovered the Avett's if it weren't for the fact that I know what it's like to be alone or left or lost. They've helped me through some of my hardest times and the truth is, If I had always been happy, I wouldn't of been able to discover the beauty of songs such as this...
What a vocal range!!! If anyone deserves it's Seth Avett, no one could utilize that voice better. What a masterpiece, the lyrics, the melody, the... everything! It's just soooo damn good

When he sings word draw for the first time, I feel like I'm left hanging over some sort of cliff and the second "draw" is a smooth, very beautiful line.
Just the story of somebody that has been hurt so bad that love becomes the punchline for every joke. Only somebody that has had genuine faith in love could be disappointed so deeply.
