Upgrading the video board is not going to enhance the fan experience. And stop focusing on the suites first, this is a horrible idea. If the 49ers owners actually cared, they would provide shade for the fans who fill up the majority of the seats, and they would improve the playing surface.
Rich Folks Over Peasants
They looked into fixing the shade there isn’t a solution, they looked into adding a partial roof cover but it was denied due to the airport and flights
@@shoulderlabrum520 it's the excuse they came up with to justify not spending money on making the stadium good
@@8731Cordova 😂
More debt making more banks collapse.
125 million and the first task to to upgrade the suites!?!?
A billion dollar stadium is already outdated in less than 10 years.
Yeah was thinking the same thing. It’s not that old.
Fr. It’s a fugly stadium. Even before they started construction, when they released videos of what it would look like, I knew it would be bad
the ugliest thing a billion dollars has been spent on
It was already outdated since the first day. As a Soccer fan, i guess it is the ugliest stadium to host the fifa 2026 WC.
@@salomaopaulo3028Yeah exactly. Cincinnati Denver, Tennessee, and even Orlando were better options. Baltimore has no roof but it’s a beautiful stadium too. I would’ve preferred Washington stadium over this 😅
They need to move the stadium back to SF
100%. The screwed up big time!
They can't.
Nah. /
Eventually they will … Warriors moved back to SF after 40 plus years, ownership realized it was a mistake to have left SF in the beginning.
Miss Candlestick Stadium😔
Yea right! SoFi and Allegiant are on a whole different level than Levi's 501 Blue Jeans Stadium. And of course upgrade the suites. They have it real bad compared to the people getting sunburns and heat exhaustion just to support their team.
Agree . When I first went to sofi I was amazed how spectacular that stadium is .
Make them pay for it themselves.
No loan relief or tax scams.
Come on. It’s California
They need to use that money to build the rest of the stadium. It looks unfinished.
Huh?? A 125 million stadium 'renovation' ??? Oh, they need to upgrade the suites for the wealthy! Well then, that is money well spent and they should spare no expense for our wonderful, generous masters!!
A new big Screen 📺 for the Peasants to Share
For real, I’ve never understood that tower of suites- it’s just a place for the rich people to sip their wine and chat. The stadium should have been built more symmetrically for more crowd capacity.
They cater to the people who are generating their revenue. That's how business works. It's not a charity.
@@plmn93 Go to hell!!! Everyone knows the non profit greedy NFL hates it's "real fans"!!!
Lets face niners fans; Levi stadium is already outdated and the niners will bail after their lease is up or maybe in ten years; Putting the stadium in Santa Clara and close to San Jose International airport was a Dumbass idea;
Does that upgrade include rolling the stadium to Hunter's Point?
As a Faithful from Australia since 1982, l had the full pleasure of going to Candlestick Park several times over the years. Candlestick really didn't offer much other than historical significance and nearby presense to San Francisco, in which you couldn't put a price to. I recently took my family to Levi's Stadium for the first time this year to watch the Niners - Cowboys game. Unfortunately l couldn't have been any more dissapointed with the overall look, feel and experience of Levi's. Firstly, the nearly three hours it took to travel from downtown San Francisco to Santa Clara is really unacceptable. ( Bus from San Francisco Train terminal to Millbrae terminal, on-board a Caltrain, followed up on a light rail.. just to reach the stadium ). There just has to be a simpler direct route on offer to fans. Secondly, the lack of any amenities, facilities outside of the stadium is a disgrace. To not be able to buy the kids any food or drinks anywhere nearby while waiting for the gates to open is just pathetic. Thirdly, to line up in very long queues awaiting to be let into the Museum, only to found out they are charging $49.00 US dollars for entry is taking the piss out of people. For a family of five that's just ridulous pricing. And finally, in my opinion, aesthetically the stadium lacks any redeemable features. They should have taken a good look at AT&T Park, nee Oracle Park for decent design cues.
"Have Driven Around The Stadium, Seen Games On TV . . . Googled Ot, Viewed Many Videos With Fans Critiquing The Experience & Stadium . . . . If They Are Not Happy I Sure Would Not Be Either❣️"

Tell them to install shading like Miami did.
A roof cover like So Fi would be nice
The Oakland Coliseum is not impressed
Ain’t had an Upgrade since PAC Died 💯🫡
The 5th newest stadium in the NFL is so crappy looking - compared to LA, LV, Dallas, Seattle, Phoenix, Philly, Pitt, Denver, Detroit and almost all others. No amount of renovation would make Levi better than these other stadiums. My gosh, it is the worst in the NFL - only Oakland was worse but it is no longer an NFL stadium.
There are no NFL stadiums in Phoenix, Las Vegas or Dallas.
@@greasesicleallegiant stadium?! 🤦♂️
@@soccerman364 That is in Paradise you fool.
How much would it take to rotate it 180 degrees? Make the rich get baked in the sun.
People sleeping under bridges, rampant crime, and an imploding economy. But dump 125 million on a stadium in the “hopes” a once in a generation Super Bowl is hosted.
Fans: we need shade
Owners: we hear ya we gonna upgrade the sweats you can't afford that should do it
Oh thank God there going to improve those luxury rich corporate mini apt. I went to a game in the first year and left with heat stroke never again till a night game or some kind of protection
Can we upgrade back to candlestick? The Levi curse is real!!
I worked here when it 1st Opened & Worked SuperBowl 50 here
Time Flying ⏰⏩️
Amazing Memories!
The Niners should’ve stayed in Frisco. It never got hot at hunters point
Frisco???? Frisco, Texas???? What's Frisco????
... perhaps the most offensive billion-dollar architectural-project in modern American history. Rivaled by only by North Korean city-planning.
So they're upgrading the stadium for the rich. I hope those 10 people enjoy everyone else should boycott going :-)
"Let's improve the fan experience!" What's the first thing they want to improve? The luxury suites. Got it.
Legit rolled my eyes when I heard “suites first”
Finally! That's what society needs!
They can host the Melanoma Bowl
The suites make them $$$$ - so they are upgrading the money makers first
The wealthy people in the suites do not need an upgrade! The Yorks screwed this stadium up from the beginning.
Still funny how crappy old Candlestick was replaced by this modern trash of a stadium. Should have made the stadium partially covered to: block the sun during the warmer months, and hold in the noise (very quiet home crowd)
seriously, its a neutral field unless its a primetime game smh
@@strikeout77777 for real. I’m a Niners fan in Seattle so most Niners games I’ve been to are up here. I don’t like the Hawks but their crowd is always good. I wish the Niners had home field advantage like Seattle.
im a season ticket holder and to hear that they are prioritizing that $125 million on upgrading the suites feels alot like a slap across the face to fans who fill the setas at that stadium. The owner are lucky that the niners are doing good, because i will guarantee you that with the way the stadium is designed, fans do not want to go to the game and bake in the sun.
Get ready to pay more at the gate.
Are they blowing up the sun?
Oh they need to upgrade the suites? Maybe they will install some gold plated seats so the regular people can get even more sun obstruction from the reflection.
Thats expensive for shade...125 million!? Wait, its not for shade?
I still can't believe that stadium model was approved. Smh. That thing was outdated the moment it was built. The most boring stadium of any of the "New" modern stadiums. Vegas. LA, Minnesota absolutely floor Levi's...hell even Cowboys stadium is better.
Add a roof over the stadium and add another half of the stadium.
So the San Jose 49ers can't afford to maintain their young stadium?
The 9er organization is greedy.
The NFL should not allow a Super Bowl at this poor venue.
In order for them to bring to the level of SoFi or Allegiant stadiums, they have to tear it down and start over
With respect to Candlestick being open, Levi Stadium - has the issue of direct sunlight angled on one side more than the other.
Just fly drones holding a large tarp blocking the sun over the stadium and alternate them every quarter.😂🧐
Mr. Burns is that you?
Imagine having to upgrade a stadium that is only 9 years old out of the newer stadium this one is by far the worst and it’s almost a hour away from San Francisco 😂
Imagine spending over a billion dollars, plus another 125 million in upgrades and still having one of the worst NFL stadiums in history that is less than 10 years old.
125m upgrade for stadium and here I am building a landscape business and 300k will change my life.
I never was at Levis but is shade really that big of a problem? Here in my city 2 big stands are directly looking at sun and during august/spetember it can be +30 celsius. It is not great to watch the game but i dont see that much people complaining and every time i hear about levis people complain abkut shade
The position of the sun in season time hits directly through all the stands, I think even with a roof covering them. The half that doesnt receive any sun is the luxury section. So, most of ppl get just fried and blinded
Yeah, who cares about the average fan's experience. We need to make sure all the corporate millionaires stay comfy in their air conditioned suites 😒😒
Levi Stadium may be the place that got the Minnesota Vikings' old Metrodome ("The Metrodump") off the hook as the worst NFL stadium in league history. The only upgrade for Levi Stadium is to completely tear it down and start over.
Should have built this properly the first time, who's building a roofless building
I hope we turn the stadium into a dome 🙏
I wish bro but its going to take longer to do that
What are they gonna do buy out great America level it and make it a fun venue for the 49ers no are they going to put a roof on so people don’t bake in the sun probably not so without those two things. It’s still a dumpster fire
Should have built a dome stadium
Levi’s is so mediocre. Should of built it like sofi or like the raiders stadium
Outdated already, one way to make consumers pay more for something they didn’t ask for
Fix the field turf first
Fans: "The new Levi Stadium suck! It needs an upgrade already! Where are the shades?!"
49ers "i hear you faithful, we will renovate. Definitely need more luxury chairs and massage chairs in the suites".
Fans: "wtf? We burning here! Get some shades up in this bitch!"
49ers: "whats that you say? Cant see the game cus the HD isnt clear enough? No worries, we will upgrade the video board with Oled"
Suites come first
Worst NFL stadium in the 21st century. With the changing CA economy, you’ll see them moving to a new stadium in 15 years.
Niners have a garbage stadium!!... im sorry to say. As a dynasty we should have had a stadium as NICE as the LV Raiders, LA Rams, Cowboys, etc
What an absolute joke.
If Arthur Ashe Stadium can get a roof for it's only event that takes place two weeks out of an entire year then this Stadium can get a roof
Wow lol.
As niners fan this is one of most ugly new stadium where did that $2B go?
Bad build.
They should just hire a million gay men to provide their own type of SHADE.
Some shade would be nice!
They should put a roof on it..
Terrible stadium.
Why don't u tear down the sweets and put more seats in and a roof for shade
Need to go back to candle stick location and build a new stadium 🏟️ with a rooftop
The footing is still there
Why there is no roof?
Am I the only one who doesn’t think anything’s wrong with the stadium lmao? I’ve been twice and I think it’s absolutely beautiful? 😂
It’s ugly and looks unfinished
This place looks like they ran out of money! To cost $1b is absolutely insane!
Need to add a roof for sure over Levi's Stadium!
Levi’s is a joke!!!
They are missing the boat not providing some type of shade cover for the fans from the heat. Doesn’t need to be a dome! Just shade! External view of the stadium shows it is one of the most hideous looking stadiums in the country if not THE worst. A better paint scheme for starters would enhance a little better. Instead of the sanitarium look it has now. Looks like something you’d find in Russia. Dreadful.
Most ugly stadium of in all sport! 😢
That's because Levi's stadium is a butt-ugly design. It's one of the ugliest stadiums in the NFL. Look at Arrowhead stadium in KC. Built in the 70's, it still has an amazingly graceful look with excellent sightlines and convenient access to vendors on each level. Oh, and parking is fantastic too.
