It’s one of my favorite things that he does… he has such a special relationship with each one of his kitties, including Bubbles… I believe that one day, Bubbles is going to shock Chad and jump up in His lap… I just hope that when she does that he doesn’t immediately reach to let her and scare her off… I had a kitty that was exactly like Bubbles in personality… it took a little more than 5 years of letting Mikey just be Mikey and not trying to force my will on him for him to jump up onto the recliner with me and then just crawl up into my lap and go to sleep… I was so shocked I didn’t know what to do… I wanted to pet him and love on him but I just let him sleep … the next day he did it again and again I just let him be… the next time he jumped up on to the recliner and crawled up onto my lap, he stepped up closer and then up on to my chest and he pressed his head onto mine… I knew then he wanted to be touched… so I obliged and stroked his head and scratched his chin… he curled back up in my lap to sleep and purred… I had never in the 5+ years since I had him, heard that boy purr! This became an evening ritual with us and for the next 15 years I got to love and pet my beautiful orange boy… I sure do miss my Prince Michael… he was definitely one of a kind…

@@ZippedUpKitz You were so lucky to be one of the chosen to be loved 😻Your ‘Velcro’ tiger 🐯 knew he wanted you as his angel on earth ❣ His purrrfect way of talking to you proves he was loyal 🐈. I miss my little girl as well. She was a tiny Chinchilla Persian who ran to greet me after work every day chirping to be picked up. She loved playing ping pong toss and candies with the twisted ends. She would tear about with one dangling from her mouth and talking at the same time just to drop it in front of you to be tossed for a game of catch. My Mom fell asleep with her arm dangling down and was woken up with a candy placed in her palm 😂 Her name was Mishou, because when I first got her, I didn’t have a name. I came home and called out, “where are you kitty, I miss you” and voila. The funniest thing ever was when I fell asleep upright in bed and upon waking felt a heavy stiffness in my neck as I turned my head. I opened my eyes and in the mirror could see her draped across the top of my head 😂 I miss her so very much. Michael and Mishou were one of a kinds 💝💘💝💘💝💘💝💘

@@leonafaryna7617 aaaawwwwwwweeee… I love that name! Mikey got his name after I got him as a young kitten… he may have been 5-6 months old…. I found him when I took my dog out for his morning walk… I hear something crying and then I saw this orange ball under my car by the wheel… I said, "well come here" and he tore over to me, leapt up on to my pant leg (thank God for blue jeans) climbed up and then Sat on my shoulder and meowed at me… I was like, "well hello to you too!" I took him inside, gave him a good look over, discovered a bazillion fleas and immediately put him in a bath to get rid of them… I was out of flea meds, so the bath had to suffice until I could get more from my vet…. I spent a good two hours using a flea comb to get those nasty buggers off of him… after he was de-fleaed, he settled in the bed that my other cats used and went to sleep… they were NOT pleased with the new addition lol… but he grew on them… I tried several different names for him but none of them worked,,, and one day while he was playing on the floor I called out a couple of names and got nothing… then I went, "Hey Mikey!" The little orange fur ball stopped playing turned and looked at me and meowed. I said, "so is that your name? Mikey?" And he meowed at me again…. So Mikey it was… even as a kitten, he didn’t like to be held. He would squirm and wrangle his way out of your grasp and jump down. Ok, so I just let him be. My husband on the other hand didn’t get the message lol…eventually he figured it out though… Mikey did like to play though and he loved to play "fetch." He had this little mouse toy that he carried around with him everywhere… he would drop it at our feet and then back away… we would toss it down the hall way and he would tear off after it and bring it back,,, we would play like this for several minutes or so and then when Mikey was done he would pick up his mouse and go lay down with it…he was the goofiest cat… the day he crawled into my lap for the first time, I will never forget… it was April 1, 2005… I’m not kidding either… when he did this I was like, ok, what’s the joke? Lol… but he continued to do it…. I miss my big orange boy… and I mean he was a BIG BOY… he weighed 22lbs at his highest… I lost him in 2021 from Bone Cancer…it came out of nowhere and took him fast… which I guess is a good thing that he didn’t suffer… while in my arms in October of 2021, he passed naturally in his sleep… I sure do miss him and will never forget him… for those of use who cats CHOOSE to love, we are given the greatest of gifts… I have a sweet little girl named Lily Rose that likes to sleep on my chest just under my chin… she helped heal the hurt in my heart when Mikey Crossed the rainbow bridge… she is the complete opposite of Mikey in personality … she loves to be loved on… and she is a chatter box too… I just adore her… if I could have a house full of kitties I would…but the hubby won’t let me have more than 2 at a time lol… oh well… at least I got the two I have…

Last night when I opened the back door to let Aliyah out to do her business, Lily, one of my two kitties, bolted out the door… she is NOT an outside kitty… neither is Sir Jasper… anyway… Lily bolts out the back door and I went out to collect her… the next thing I know, she takes off to the back of the yard zips around the big oak tree and then I see WHY… she had see a bunny… a very small bunny… but a bunny nonetheless… she was chasing this little guy around the back yard and thankfully he made it to the brush pile where I know his mama has a burrow… Lily sat there in front of that brush pile with her tail flicking back and forth and doing that little cik-cik-cik-cik think she does when she sits in the windowsill and watches the birds… I was able to reach down and pick her up and bring her back in… she was not happy with me lol… for the next two hours or so she sat at the back door and cried for em to let her out… "nope, not gonna do it! You are not and outside kitty!" I told her… she finally gave up and came to the recliner, hopped up on the arm and "told me all about how I .was a mean mama and she was mad at me for not letting her catch that bunny." She forgave me … after a while… 😂😂😂

Wow, I never realized just how small Maggie actually is! I love her coloring! It’s so interesting to look at the other kitties and think how amazing it is that each one of them, despite Looking so different from each other, came from her! She has the orange that made Mango, the Black for Dexter, the Grey for Chunk and of course her "mini-me" Tango and last but not least, Bubbles with both the black and the white giving her that Tuxedo pattern… Each one of the kitties all have her coloring… and for those who say I forgot about FozzyBear, I did not… he's not one of her babies… he's the King though! Anyone who were to just come upon these beautiful babies would never guess that Maggie May was their mama… isn't genetics fun?!?

Mango seems like a pretty cool cat.
I had 5 indoor cats and one outside cat 🐱 the one outside list her collar of course. Lol. The others in the house all had collars but only 2 kept them on. I did it because if they ever got out and got lost, they hopefully would be returned. The other 3 had no interest in going outside. Plus they kept pulling the collars off!! Eek🙀🙀

Would it be possible to bring Bubbles on walks with a harness? I really want her to get trained so she can go outside like the other cats, but I understand these things can take a lot of time and determination to get it to finally work out, it's not a simple solution as it depends on the individual in this case Bubbles herself. Think of it like this, I try to pet Bubbles everyday sometimes multiple times a day. She’ll let me pet her once in a months time. I can’t even get to her so I can pick her up. I’d love her to be out on the farm but I’m also ok with her being the cat house kitty. I still work on her though, just yesterday she was acting weird and let me pet her (she bit me a bit but that’s ok 😂) my hope is to just keep earning her trust so she’ll be more tame but how long that’ll take nobody knows.

@@HiddenSpringFarm Yeah, I thought harness training could've been a helpful idea that maybe no-one mentioned before. But I suppose it's out of the question, and if she gets close enough with you she wouldn't need it anyway.
My train of thought was maybe if she got used to being around you at a nearby distance, maybe she would realize its OK and do that with the harness off. But that's not really how this works. I feel a little silly for suggesting it. Thanks for your response ^^

I don’t really know a lot about farm animals quick question is there particular reason why the pigs don’t do a little ranging throughout the day the ducks, the geese, the cats and so on??

The trouble with pigs is that they love to root the ground. If you have an area that you want to till the soil put pigs there, but otherwise pigs will ruin most areas so I keep them contained for now until I can figure it out.

Free ranging all with the right protective fences, dogs and geese… guessing you looked into already? Locking up animals deprives them from natural predators, habitat & instincts, Upsetting natural settings

I know you probably love Ms Olive, but the tone you use with her vs other animals is VERY different. I’m sure she’d love to hear some positive reinforcement when she does as you ask her to do!!
