Everyone's reaction with each incredible shot Steph hit throughout the game is simply amazing, that is the face of someone watching greatness happen right before their eyes.
This game is for me the very best of his career. Considering the context of the FINALS and also the pressure on him and his team, down 1-2 ... he just took over and he has been clutch at the end to save GS season. And i would like to mention his defense in these finals. It's weird to put Steph and defense on the same sentence but he has been amazing on the side for a guy who is not an elite defender. He had to defend on almost every celtic. Sometimes on Smart, sometimes on Brown, or Tatum, even on Al a few times. They switched as much as possible to take advantage on him but he responded big time and still delivered offensively. Physically people don't realise how hard it is. He definitely reach another level and finally get the respect he deserved. He needed that ring and that finals MVP to shut down criticism a little bit. GREAT PERFORMANCE from Steph !
Yupp that added size is what has helped. I think it messes with his shot a little bit af first , but I think he finally adjusted to the added strength. Looking at his all star game to these finals, he has looked like he’s at his ultimate peak, and it does f look like he’s slowing down. They need to conserve as much energy of this during the regular season as possible. Low 30s for minutes m, and get Poole to shoulder a lot
his best performance was game 1 vs spurs in 2013 because they were an iconic team Duncan/ginobli and he really put them through the grinder he was insane, he had to all the work himself the screens and plays that kerr implemented were not there he played like a superhuman 3ball machine
I appreciate the highlights that keep the emotion after the score than just cut to the next highlight. The emotion of the superstar as he’s torching the opposing team is a huge part of what makes the highlights so great.
When Steph hit the 3 pointer at 1:30 and he started to bark at the Celtic fans at the start of the timeout, he actually was trying to take the heat away from Draymond who was bothered by the Celtic fans targeting him - THAT is a teammate.
@@smiddux5598 yes it is what the heck are you talking about? This was one of his best finals performances 43/10/4 with 7 3s and a clutch 10 pts in the 4th quarter
High off the glass is right, almost touching the top edge of the backboard. With everything going on during that shot - White pushing him towards he baseline & Robert Williams, Williams in perfect position to block the shot, Steph in the air with an extra kick of his legs to hang longer & calculating the angle and touch of the shot off the glass - can only think WOW. Steph's shot at 5:01 was just as amazing, dribbling the ball forever - a normal human being would be either too pumped up or too exhausted - yet Steph hits a long floater from the corner of the key with perfect touch. Steph's hand-eye coordination must be off the charts if there is anyway to gage this.
Stephen Curry is a Real Man Now, not that he was a boy before but he is The Man Now. He does not need other players to add complimentary assistance because he has evolved to become a person that will take the entire burden of the offense, the no-calls on 3 point shots made and the hostile body checking that is directed towards him and he says "I will still whip your entire teams ass and not cry about the missed foul calls, the bodying up by players who are trying to be physical and just pours in the points and leads his team to victory". He is more intimidating than LeBron James because he is totally unstoppable. We are seeing performances by Stephen Curry that rears from now people will rave about and we will be able to say "I saw Stephen Curry at his Greatest."
the most well thought out post usually and unfortunately go unnoticed. But you encapsulated it perfectly, well put sir. Steph is definitely at his apex, right now. Which is crazy
I never thought Bird's ego would IGNORE greatness ! Remember when Bird & MJ did that commercial on difficult shots ? Steph needs to do one with Trae young !😂😂😂😂😂😂 those 2 guys are on ANOTHER level than Bird & MJ ! They couldn't do the shots that they were calling , it was just to SHOW how Great they are at shooting baskets ! But Steph CAN make shots that Nobody else can make ! He needs to do a commercial with KD !
The hell was wrong with the refs I watched this on tv and kept pausing when he gets fouled it annoyed me honestly could atleast had 55 points with the fouls

6'3" point guard getting a double-double WITH REBOUNDS in the finals. This is the greatest point guard in NBA history folks.
He’s not but he’s definitely on pace to be.
I come back to this video regularly.
Absolute MASTERPIECE
He was a BEAST in this game
One of the best performances from curry and it was in opposite team home too.
2:02 this shot hanging in the air, keeping White behind him, double clutch, high off the glass over R Williams is just incredible.
Hella tough. I was surprised by the nonchalant call by the commentators given the degree of difficulty.

Everyone thought the Celtics will win the title, even to this day somebody still think they won.
4:40 man, if Williams used his experience. He should've allow himself hit by GP2s screen. High possibility of getting an offensive foul there.
Another sequence is if GP2 didn't roll screen that Williams might foul Curry on 3 point area leading to 4 point play for Curry.
