Am I the only one who doesn’t like watching live awards shows? They kind of make me anxious because someone may fall (Jennifer Lawrence for example) or people read the prompter and stumble over their words/cant read it because something goes wrong. It makes me cringe and I feel bad for them.

Roma’s leading woman is an indigenous women from Mexico. This is huge deal for Mexican Americans and Mexicans everywhere. It’s been an amazing year for Mexicans and the Latinx community as a whole. Let’s do better! In the film side we had Roma, which won two golden globes; best director and best foreign film. It made my heart so happy; it made me proud to be Mexican American! Let’s give credit where credit is due. I’ve seen this happen on the show many times; just skip over monumental moments like these. What’s going on? I don’t feel the inclusivity right about now. And I’ll tell you what... it sucks because I’ve been a fan and a supporter of the show since day one.
