Next time if you plan to visit Munnar take Coimbatore --> Pollachi --> Udumalpet --> Amamalai Tiger Reserve --> Chinnar --> Munnar Route. Its shorted and really scenic.

@Pranay Chenreddy We are in product software companies. Of course we don't have liberty of too many leaves. So we plan our probable vacation times at the beginning of the year, as soon as the holiday calendar is out :) we also mark all long weekends and holidays that are close to weekends so that with 1-2 leaves around those times we can get a 4-5 days vacation time. Yes, It is very green. Especially mountains and hills are very green in this side. It is always a bliss to explore different parts of South India.

Nope. Until unless people learn some basic common sense while driving, especially truckers, locals who go wrong side, locals who take bikes and tractors even when not allowed, wrong side drivers, no tail lights, no headlights, impeding traffic with their pathetic speeds, there will always be complaining!
