In Bangladesh Hindus during festivals use banana leaves as a plate and Taro leaves or water lily or lotus leaves, but due to modern tech, rarely used simple local clay pottery for cooking or kitchen almost died, even in the villages. Even muslims used it when mass feeding. Bangladesh is one of the countries that export high quality and average quality ceramic and bone china products.
