With a DEFG, how much slower is it to go down the mountain on the OG path? Would get you to the highway quicker for a straight shot to the airport, right?

I still think for the derfG part, you should have to abandon your cars on the highway and run to the lighthouse checkpoint. Would really make it Gfred in reverse
If I said it once I've said it a 100 times. Broughy is such a good racer when he is behind someone else. I'd say his greatest asset as a racer is that he manages to always find a better line than the racer he has ahead of him. #SecondForLife

I feel like an OncominGfred or similar would be interesting to try. Also, I'd love to see another of those tier drop race things. Whether it be Sports, Muscle, Supers, or maybe even taking the fastest or slowest from 5 or 6 classes.
Out of curiosity: Could someone not stay behind at the very start of the race and start pushing the bikes into the water later on, to grief others by resetting them? Or does it only reset if the most recent vehicle ends up in water?

It always has done so. There is nothing different in this from any of the previous gfreds of any kind. Nothing out of the ordinary happened.
If the water reset wasn't a thing, Queomeo would have run away with the race anyway.
