Traveler's Notebook Set Up

Welcome back everyone! Today's video is about the Traveler's Company pocket size notebook I have always wanted. I have been a Happy Planner gal for as long as I have been a planner, but I have been known to go to rings from time to time. I have a Webster's traveler's notebook somewhere around here, but damned if I can find it. So this is a rambling video of me setting it up, talking about my anxiety trying to set it up and finally getting it done. Hang on, because this is a long one. I keep my planner simple/minimalistic and don’t deco my planner, but in my younger years i was well aware of being overwhelmed and suddenly unable to see things through. Sometimes you just need a break for some minutes before you can get further and finish it. That’s how i managed it.

That is great advice and that is what I have been trying to do. I still sometimes get that overwhelming feeling, but now step back and take a moment.

I tottaly feel your overwhelm x and we do just have to get it done even if its imperfect but we can also take breaks to bring us back down. We don't have to get things done to others time scales x

Absolutely! I wish I had figured that out when I started my planning adventure. I was always so hard in myself because I wasn't filling everything out on the pages, or not using enough decoration. Thankfully I am kinder to myself now.

Why does one need more than one planner in a year? Being a junk journal maker, I love the process and creativity of making a JJ, but I don't journal. How do you keep track if you have more than one planner and how do you find the time to use the stickers and everything included, in a timely manner? Thanks.🦋

That is great question! I usually use only one planner per year. I tried to use 2 last year. One for work and one for home and it was a mess for me. I didn't match appointment and meeting dates, missed lists for organization because they were in 2 different planners, etc. This year I decided to go with my personal size agenda and maybe in the fall use this TN as just a wallet. Hello! I found that insert on Aliexpress. My apologies though, because I don't remember the store. However, I found it by typing Traveler's Notebooks wallet insert into the search bar and it did come up for me. Mind you though that the blue insert is a type of heavy paper. It does feel fairly sturdy though.
