    Native Russian speaker here!
The sentences are translated really well, but I can definitely hear an accent. It's not that big of a deal, tbh.
The concept is awesome. I can't wait for another anime with the same "language" concept but in a different language.
Also, her middle name is definitely Russian. It comes from the name "Mikhail" [Mi ha il] (The letter "i" is pronounced like the "e" in the word "Me").
Middle name pronounces like [Mi hai lov na] (The letter "i" is the same as before, "hai" is pronounced like the word "Hi", "lov" like "Love", and "na" is like in the word "Nani")
P.S. Sorry for being a little nerdy :)

@@SuchAccuracy, I agree. It still impresses me how well she speaks Russian, even though she's Japanese. So she, like the main character, can be forgiven for minor mistakes, a little mispronunciation, etc., because it's almost impossible to speak a foreign language as a native speaker. They've done a really good job with the voice acting, at least judging from just the first episode.

MILASHKA 😂 her VA being the same as Nagatoro's is hillarious. Apparently she really can speak a little bit of russian. I've seen some natives saying that in the long lines she sounds a little weird, but as a non-speaker, it looks legit to me LMAO

@@pbgamer25 Guess I found the video you're talking about. Well, she stumbles a bit, pronounses r istead of l (I heard it's a really common problem among japanese people), but that's ok. I understood what she was saying (maybe because she was speaking slowly).

@@dadbob3648 i'm not american, but i've completed the english course till the end, so i can write and speak normally, and even i feel a little cringe when anime characters speak a whole sentence in english. Like, one or two words you can barely hear the accent, but when they say a whole phrase, the accent becomes clear as day. So i kinda know what russian viewers are coming from. Also....i've been seen a lot of russian comments in many reaction for this show, so i'm curious: is the russian public for anime big, or are they interested in this show specifically? Cause seeing russian comments is smth you rarely see (at least in american youtubers's channels).

I speak Russian (and a bit of Japanese as well, though that part isn't really relevant lol) and can tell you that VAs so far have done a nice job here. In some parts the pronunciation is a bit too exaggerated, but it is considerably better than what any Hollywood actor has done to date tbh. Japanese people due to many similarities in pronunciation of some sounds just have a naturally easier time saying Russian words than English native speakers do (except maybe Scottish folks, they get it reasonably well too).

This was supposed to be released last season, but got delayed. But it's a good thing Doga Kobo aired this not just this season, but also next to Oshi no Ko. And so far, this might actually fill the void The Dangers in My Heart left (Spring was a bit meh).
And it's great to hear Nagatoro and Hahari's VA voicing Alya.

14:18 I have purposefully avoided spoilers for this show because I’ve been looking forward to it, so what I say is just pure speculation:
    ***Spoiler for Love Hina below***
With the childhood memories I am getting strong Love Hina flashbacks. In Love Hina we are led to believe that Girl #1 in the harem is the childhood friend the protagonist keeps dreaming about. We are given so many blatant clues (appearance, choice of words when talking, etc.) to convince us the viewers, and then the protagonist himself becomes convinced of it too. However, when he tells her that he’s worked it out she just replies “Oh no, that couldn’t possibly have been me because [absolutely rock solid alibi].”
It might be a long shot, but I am going to bet anyone who accepts that later on, when we most believe that she is Alya, we find out that the childhood friend is Alya’s sister or some other member of her family!
