    • @TheKisekiNut
      @TheKisekiNut  8 месяцев назад

      I'll be surprised if we get it in 2024, and even in to 2025. If we're going on release order, Crimson Sin comes next, and then Ys X. It depends on whether NISA have capacity to take on a second Falcom game in the same year (granted, it's script is smaller than a typical Trails title).

    • @ifrit1937
      @ifrit1937 7 месяцев назад

      @@TheKisekiNut Ys should be simple enough to get in the same year as either Kuro 1 or 2 tbh as the script's generally closer to half the size of any Trails game and in the past Ys 9 (I think it was 9, could've been 8) released about 13 months after it's Japanese release whereas Trails at its shortest has a 2 year gap between Japanese and western release with the CS 1 thru 4 games or longer. Kuro has probably been in the works before Reverie released by half a year or more so it'll still likely be closer to 2 years localization time than 1 year...at minimum it'll take them 1 and a half years for the whole translation.
      Unless Falcom decided they want to release both Kuro games first to have them come out back to back Ys 10 will likely be sometime next year (spring to summer would be my guess)...hell they probably could've gotten Ys 10 out this year too if they wanted to (NISA has the resources to make it happen to as they've shown unlike Xseed) as it probably has less lines to work with than Ys 8 and 9 given you only get Adol (who unless they changed it for 10 is a mute protagonist so he doesn't really take outside of a few lines in the story I could count on 1 hand/battle lines...well scratch that he'll get more lines (voiced on top of that) in a Ys game if it's coming from his adventure log/diary...that's mostly when you see Ado's perspective actually written down/voiced in the series outside of a literal handful (less than 5) cutscenes in the last 2 games) so all the written lines needed will be from your 1 other party member and then npc lines or in game books/menu descriptions/something along these lines and I don't think the story's even as long as Ys 8 or 9 either (haven't played though but a good chunk of both games length came from focusing on other party members backstories, especially so for Ys 9 and that will not really be the case for 10 with there being only 2 playable characters).
      My guess is 2025 is Ys 10 though and 2026 Kuro 2 given they usually do only one game from either IP per year so unless they just want to get these games out as fast as possible to focus on upcoming games they're releasing in Japan in 2026 and beyond I don't see them changing that...especially as that guarantees at least 1 game each fiscal year no matter what (if they released both in 2025 and their next project isn't done soon enough to get localized in 2026 they may be waiting an entire year for worldwide sales so there's also the case of some games just being released in the west later than you'd think if it'd fit a better time to give them finances for the upcoming year(s). Falcom usually gets a game out in Japan yearly (though not all the time) so not getting a western release in a year isn't gonna be the end of the company but it could be something to keep in their back pocket as long as possible if it looks like they won't release a game in Japan in the upcoming fiscal year or two....granted right now they got Kuro world wide coming up (even again in Japan with Switch in 3 days) along with another Celceta port, TX EX+ Switch for the west this year, CS3 and 4 on PS5, and then finally Kai is also scheduled for Japan this year alone. Then there's Kuro 2 west, Ys X, and then Kai that are likely for the west for next year and the year after and maybe the year after that in Kai's case (2027) at the latest and then a bunch of other upcoming projects that have yet to be announced that will also be releasing in the same timeframe so it's not like they can't just say Kurio 2 and Ys 10 both for 2025 (even one for 2024, but given TX, Celceta, and CS 3 and 4 I don't see them doing another localizations this year).

  • @joaocbcneto
    @joaocbcneto 8 месяцев назад +16

    With Tokyo Xanadu's recent announcement and last time having mentioned three old game ports being suspended by Falcom that a lot of people thought were meant to be Sky.
    I'm guessing Falcom started reaching out to not only Aksys but also XSEED to use their localizations for new ports but the deal with XSEED did not go as well as the one with Aksys, so a remake for Sky now needs to happen as a condition for Falcom to have NISA relocalize them.

    • @Natreg44
      @Natreg44 8 месяцев назад +3

      That may be the case, but, I don't think they are going to release remakes of Sky. 3 games long would make them loose their momentum with the reveals of Kai.
      What I think is that they are going to release an introductory title (single game) that can act as a prequel to the series, and can, as well introduce new characters and events that are relevant to the plot. That same year they'll release ports of Sky to modern platforms as well.
      Then, they are probably releasing the next arc that will probably be the final one, and will at least be 2 games long.
      Kondo wants to fniish the Trails series before he retires. 3 games are already a long endeavor, specially when there are other franchises they release in-between as well. 3 games + the 3 remakes would be too much.
      Also Kato is probably giving them pressure as well to finish the story already.
      Xseed, unless they decide to change somehow their way of thinking, are just hurting the franchise as a whole.

    • @joaocbcneto
      @joaocbcneto 8 месяцев назад +5

      @@Natreg44 see the problem here is that if Falcom really can't get XSEED to pass the localization then they can't port Sky to modern platforms on the west like what happened with Switch Cold steel 1 and 2.
      Which is why Remakes with an eventual NISA version would pretty much be the last resort option to get Sky into consoles.

    • @Natreg44
      @Natreg44 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@joaocbcneto The thing with Cold Steel 1 and 2 is a bit different here. CS1 & CS2 for the switch were ported by CLE, not by Falcom. This means they can't use that port to publish their translations (assumint they wanted to, which we don't really know).
      If Sky comes to switch, that will be a port done by Falcom, which xseed could use.
      What I wanted to say in my previous post is that Falcom is a very small company. And dedicanting their time to release 3 remakes instead of finishing the series is something I don't see happening, unless they are very underwhelming remakes.
      Ports, yes, I expect that, but not full-on remakes. Also, a game beloved in Japan could mean lot's of things. I'm actually thinking lately that they may refer to Gurumin instead, which is a remake I think Falcom could handle.

  • @andersdupont47
    @andersdupont47 8 месяцев назад +3

    I take Kondos "90 percent" to be a marketing plot to get people to pay attention the coming arc(s). However, I think they will still need the promised two remaining arcs to close the gap on all sept-terrions. Rushing everything and the remaining continent into a single arc would amount to a 'dropping the ball' on Trails' trademark world building patience that would just be nonsensical for a conservatively planning, careful company like Falcom.

    • @luminous3558
      @luminous3558 8 месяцев назад

      Yeah I don't know how 90% complete is possible considering nothing has happened in Kuro 1 or 2 that actually connects to the big plot. So even Kuro alone needs 1-2 more games to finish its confused storyline and tie it to the main series.
      90% complete would mean the next game is the last and that would mean they are rushing the series for a early and unsatisfying conclusion.

    • @TheKisekiNut
      @TheKisekiNut  8 месяцев назад +1

      I agree, 90% was a wild swing when I heard it. Reverie was the 60% mark, 3 games since that point can't amount to that level of story, especially when Crimson Sin did very little.

    • @ifrit1937
      @ifrit1937 7 месяцев назад

      @@luminous3558 I mean Kai seems to be just Kuro 3 but renamed (more of a Zero to Azure instance than Reverie by the sounds of it, especially since I've heard some people complain that Kuro 2 didn't really resolve Kuro's plotlines so I doubt Kai's a sky 3/Reverie style game considering what I mention in the rest of this paragraph)). Kondo already said in an interview the focus is still on Van and it will still mainly take place in Calvard so they can wrap up whatever's they're doing with that arc in Kai (I haven't played Kuro yet so no spoiler's please).
      As for the rest of it...I can think of 1 way they can get everything else done in 1 arc: a 3 to 4 part game focused on church members (probably Gralsieters again, maybe even Kevin and Riese) who go around to parts of the the remaining countries to resolve issues that pop up due to Ouroboros doing something that involves whatever remaining Septerrions are left after Kai. Hell if they split it into 2 main church members parties they can do the whole Reverie changing PoV thing each chapter too so that you have one group focus on one country and the other focus on another for each game (could be the same countries for each of the games or they go to another of the remaining countries we never visited in each game until all countries we've never been to/didn't have a mobile game or anime about have been visited at least once. They can then tie it all up with either the last game of this arc being the last Trails game where everything comes to a head like CS4 did or they can throw one final game by itself where all the past Trails characters come back to take on whatever the final boss/threat is in either a new hidden land (maybe an island hidden by a barrier that was causing everything), wherever McBurn is from, some flying spaceship/observatory, hell knowing jrpg tropes the moon, or maybe even Gehenna given how big of a role demons play or Arteria/a location in Arteria itself (as with tropes the church/the deity they worship either ends up being the villain or winds up being the site where whatever's causing all of the issues is sealed and to resolve said issues you must enter the sealed area to finish things)...I'd be surprised if it wound up being none of these as generally this is how jrpgs ends lol. Only other option I guess would be heading towards part of the continent that's currently being made uninhabitable by god knows what and arriving at ground zero and finding whatever's causing the issues there while dealing with new types of monsters/villains coming from there (granted...given Kai wants to introduce spaceships as that's the first thing you see in the trailer's headlines/screenshots my guess is that the series is not gonna end on the Zemurian continent or on the planet itself...either some giant space station or the moon is the most likely imo).
      And yes while this may sound like a rushed way to treat the septerrions let me point out this is more or less how CS did things: 2 septerrions were used for for what's considered 1 arc of the game (CS3 and 4, techinically you could consider all of CS 2 disticnt arcs: School Rean which focuses on the rebellion/pre phantasmal blaze arc and then teach rain which focuses on noble uprising/during hijacked phatasmal blaze arc and the septerrions only really come into play in 3 and 4 while CS 1 and 2 are more setup of Erebonia and then finally linking Crossbell into the mix in CS2's intermission for said Phantasmal Blaze arc). At the same time wind and water septerrions may be in play for Kuro's arc from what I've seen in trailers (haven't played them but the Grendel thing kinda screams wind to me at least and i feel like Time will be the last arc so water is either tied with wind or it's own arc between wind and time).
      I guess you in theory could get this last arc done in 2 games using the church Merkbah traveling method and throwing one final all characters reappear for the end game as well so 90% wouldn't really be wrong for Kondo's estimate (would say 85% would be closer though). We'll see after Kai I guess.

"Trails Through Reverie" made me wish there was a *dedicated Trails game that focuses on the "Swin/Nadia" backstory.* Yes, I know you can read that in-game novel series to learn more about their backstory, but I personally would prefer a full-on traditional turn-based Trails game to explore their backstory (even if it ends-up being on the shorter side, I would STILL pay full price to experience that game IMO).

    I am looking forward to Ys X, whenever that releases on PC in the west. That is one of my favorite franchises.
    The Square Enix news is a mixed bag. Glad they are updated the PC pixel remasters. I will buy those eventually. But its too bad they closed down Tokyo RPG Factory. None of their games were big hits, but at least a couple did decently well. I think they had potential.

    hopefully they keep the sky remake in 2D and make the graphics like eiyuden chronicles, OT, etc rather than make it to 3D. i also really fond of the 2D portrait that they use for character dialogue up until azure. i think not using 2D portrait in dialogue from cold steel onwards is just a massive L tbh and i also think that's why persona dialogue is just a treat to listen and watch cause the 2D portrait really liven up the scene for its character expression.

  • @ifrit1937
    @ifrit1937 7 месяцев назад

    As for the Remake I've seen people say Sky...I don't think it is, I think it's Ys 5 or a non Ys/Trails game IP as Sky doesn't need to be remade at this moment before the main series ends as it's available to anyone via PC and the Sky and Crossbell series is something anyone with a PC (90% of people nowadays likely has one) as it does not need a good PC to run (mine ran Sky 3 and Crossbell (fan subs before CS3 came out a couple years before official release, bought them officially on Switch) fine and it's a 10 year old PC with constant crashing issues when watching livestreams at anything higher than 480p and it's not even a dedicated gaming PC and one I bought more so for office work/watching videos at first and on top of that is an All in one PC which I learned the hard way are shit PCs). They should focus more on making new games and finishing up the series before trying to remake any Trails games...hell if any Trails games could use a remake it'd be the mobile games with the story being adapted to console format and removing the gacha aspect and reworking any story aspects that were affected by gacha as both Trails mobile games take place in 2 countries we haven't explored on consoles yet (the Northern War mobile game for example and if I'm right Akastuki also took place in a few other regions too that we never went to). Only real justification of a remake at all right now would be due to not being able to get Xseed to do a port to new consoles/Xseed refuses to allow anyone else to port their translation thus making a remake the only real viable option left but even then as I said PC version is around and anyone can run it with even a shit tier PC (especially if it was a gaming PC) if it was made in the last few years if my 10 year old piece of shit PC is fine with them...if they really want to remake it fine they can focus on that once the series is done though (I'd prefer finishing the series before I die thank you).
    Ys 5 seems the most likely though given it's the only Ys game not to be released in the west at this point and is definitely a game that needs to be made from the ground up, especially if you consider the Japanese audience apparently didn't like it much and a lot of people talk about how the combat was meh so they can revamp the combat to something like modern Ys games or Tokyo Xanadu (I think TX combat with Adol by himself would work best though...granted they can also do this for a Ys 1 and 2 remake as well which is also one that I could see getting a remake as the bump combat will not be for everyone and they could give all the characters quite a bit more development (which they could all use tbh, at least as much as was in Oath in Felghana)).

    Honestly really worrying news as someone whose caught up to jp releases for trails. Kuro did not have a conclusion to its arc that was satisfying or makes sense.
    We are not much further mainstorywise than reverie was.
    The best way I can describe Kuro 1 and 2 is that they are coldsteel 1 and 2, meaning they are very incomplete as an arc and would need 2 more games to actually make progress.
    Reverie itself was largely plot irrelevant so it makes me think that Kai isn't gonna be much different and they won't suddenly pull 3 septerrions out of their sleeves saying that ouroboros just found them off screen.
    Kondo is clearly very ambitious with this statement and likely will have to go back on it, its just worrying that he is able to think he can complete the series in 1 game + 1 short arc after stalling for the last 7 games and progressing the series at a snails pace.

      @@TheKisekiNut It just seems like a weird announcement at this point. I figured the second half of the series would sort of "mirror" the first, with Calvard given as much weight as Erebonia (so maybe four games with Van) and then two smaller arcs in maybe Remiferia and Arteria before having the finale arc in the easternmost part of the continent where all the desertification is happpening.

      @@TheKisekiNut That 2 arcs comment was made before Reveries if I'm right...so Kuro = 1 arc, one after 2 arcs and then if Im right the wording was 2 more arcs before the end which could be it's onw game/series of games on its own for all we know. He's probably highballing it and it's closer to 85% which would make more sense.

    • @ifrit1937
      @ifrit1937 7 месяцев назад

      I mean Kai is part of the Kuro arc (Kondo said it's still following Van and centered on Calvard, it's probably another new name but same arc situation like Zero and Azure were for Crossbell rather than a Sky 3/Reverie situation) so one of the 3 (or even 2) septerrions can be resolved in this arc...hell 2 were done for the Cold Steel games (fire and earth and then I guess Steel as the two combined to make the Septerrion of Steel) so they can do the same with Kuro/Kai's arc (hell...the whole Grendel powers scream wind to me from what I've seen in trailers (saw a few JP/the first English one but never played the game so I'm not spoiling anything here and it's just speculation on my part/Kondo's own comment on Kai in a recent interview (may even be the same one he mentions saying after Kai 90% is done).
      And for the final arc they do have 1 easy option that can still do decent world/character building left to them: final arc focuses on MCs from the church (probably new gralsieters or Kevin and Riese again) who go to the remaining areas/places Ouroboros are sighted via the Merkbah airships. This would allow them to more or less travel to all remaining regions quickly (probably won't see all of each region though with this method and just specific towns/cities and nearby fields/dungeons unless for each game they have 2 main groups whose PoV change via a mechanic like Reverie's party switching or they just do dedicated chapters for each group and each group covers a different country in each arc of the game so you see maybe 2 to 4 towns and surrounding areas for each country per game (so maybe 4 countries for 2 more games which would be roughly the amount of countries left that haven't been seen/the focus of a game yet and since it's the church Arteria would probably be like Trista/Leeves and be your main base and maybe play a role in one of/both of the game's final chapters if it doesn't wind up being the final destination of the series as a whole (could be another the church is actually bad, or at least the deity it serves, or there's something sealed under the church that's causing all the BS in the game and we have to go in to beat it or it has some portal to the final dungeon/region/setting of the series (could even be Gehenna...honestly that'd be the most likely one if demons are what's causing Zemuria's problems...wouldn't be the first time a church was plopped down on top of the entrance to a fantasy' world's hell in order to keep demonic like shit sealed away from the world/stop people from letting demonic things out)). And even after this next arc it doesn't mean there won't be some final last game that's not counted as part of the arc that acts as the series' final climax/conclusion so with the Merkbah method you could get as few as 2 games, probably 3 games though for the last main story arc and then have the 1 final game (if it's not made into a series of games, granted that feels excessive unless they're heading to one whole new country where the main enemy (Ouroboros or something even they were fighting (with how much members of the organization join in as friends I wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to save the world in their own weird way) of the series is located) for the conclusion.
      Unless they reveal that Zemruia is part of the same world as Nayuta (which if it is then we know what's more or less going on with that game's world so we'd be having a good idea of what's happening to Zemruia due to that and maybe what is even the Grandmaster's plan if she's a character from Nayuta (I don't think she is even with the similarities) but from what I've seen while a lot of terminology is similar and there is an empire in Nayuta I don't think they're the same world due to a few key differences in snippets about the world outside Remnant island in that game) we really don't have much to work with in what Ouroboros's main goal is or what's going on in Zemuria.
      Also if I'm right at the end of CS2 he said the series was about 70 to 75% done so his % shouldn't be taken as a clear indicator...add or subtract about 5 to 10% for a more accurate # lol.

As for why it ruins the chance to build character relationships between the other male and female members of Class 7...the males they kinda gave NPC options for at the very least but the females? I think the only potential non rean romance in Class 7 is Jusis and Millium (note, she'd be about 19 in the Kuro games and only has a 4 year difference between her and Jusis (same as my mom and dad) and were classmates even if there was an age gap so don't throw the 'ew that's pedo' bs at me for this, especially if you're fine with Fie, Juna, Musee) and that's about it...hell even the Crow and Towa potential relationship gets the Rean cuck lol.

      I mean we got at least Remefiera and The Holy City of Arteria/Leman STate that I feel we have to go to no matter what (definitely the later), Ored State (none of the mobile games were here right? or at Remefiera?), The Principality of Elsaim, The Morgia Archipelago and Isca left so far so ya we got a lot of places left to go assuming they're not made into either mobile games or one season anime like what was done with North Ambria or are only talked about in the main games and never visited like Jurai.
      Of these I would say Arteria will probably be a definite stop given how important the church is to the storyline same with Isca given that's the far eastern part of the continent not even shown yet so at least part of it will probably be explorable sooner or late.
      Hell technically all of these regions could be explored if they do what Reverie did in the next arc and have 2 main point of view characters exploring 2 separate countries (preferably both groups being groups of new characters though and not returning casts)...would especially work if it's a bit longer than the longest game currently in the series (pretty sure that's CS3 right?)...would be easier to do that if one of said groups was from the church (hell they could use Arteria as the main base and fly to parts of other countries via the Merkbah airships).
      If any aren't though I'd Lesaim and Morgia would be the least likely...maybe even Remefiera (as the only real thing i see mentioned about that country is the medical technology...everything else makes the country sound peaceful tbh though that itself could be a red flag saying thing swill go down there sooner or later). Hell the church members traveling vial the Merkbah's is sounding more and more likely as an option for how to handle this last arc of the story more than anything else the more I think about it as they could have them go to a few different towns in different countries for 2 to 3 games in said arc pretty easily...may not see the entire country of course like past games but we'd probably see a good amount and either the series finalle will be in the last dungeon of that last game or in 1 completely new region/off world region after that arc and be it's entire game (could wind up being another Reverie/Sky 3/Ys Origin sort of setting like some giant spaceship/observatory/the moon that watches the world or an island outside Zemuria hidden by some barrier.

Throughout Cold Steel, the number kept jumping back and forth from 60%-70% and unless Kai no Kiseki is extremely rushed or bloated (I hope not) I can't see how we're jumping from 70% to 90% so quick. Plus they probably want to keep their biggest franchise going for as long as they can from a business standpoint.

      The issue is that he is even saying it.
      Trails after Kuro 2 is not much further progressed than Reverie.
      Both Kuro games are largely self contained stories with 0 influence on the septerrion plot and instead a focus on the characters. Kuro 2 isn't even a conclusion to its arc so I can't understand where Kai comes from when Kuro desperately needs kuro 3 and 4.
      Yeah they might not wanna make another coldsteel but then they maybe shouldve tried being concise when writing kuro so its 1 and 2 wasnt an effective repeat of what makes cs 1 and 2 feel incomplete as an arc.

      It does sound odd, especially considering Reverie was the 60% point not too long a go.

      @@luminous3558 Kai is just Kuro 3 with a different name. Kondo said Van's still the main character and the focus is still on Calvard...it seems more like it's just a random renaming like the Crossbeel games where they name Crossbell 1 Zero and Crossbelll 2 Azure rather than Zero 2.
      I haven't paid too much attention to any other news on Kai besides that as I haven't played Kuro 1 and 2 but from what little was said it doesn't even sound like a Reverie/Sky 3 intermission game situation either.
      If it does wind up being that than they can even get a Septerrion (maybe even 2 as CS did 2 with 1 arc as well...and I'm talking about 3 and 4 for that 1 arc, not all 4 CS games...the Septerrions weren't even a focus for CS1 and 2 tbh and only really became relevant in 3 and 4 so Kuro arc using 3 games (even if 1 isn't named Kuro) isn't impossible. Especialy since the Grendel aspect (saw it only in JP/first english trailers so not that sure on what it's relevance is so far) kinda screams related to the wind septerrion to me and I wouldn't be surprised if we see a blue one related to the water septerrion either when Kuro finally releases here or in Kai given Kai continues with Van and crew and we don't know how many games may have the Kai name yet (could just be the one, could be 2 for all we know)).
      And even with the final arc it's not impossible to cover all the remaining countries well if they're willing to make the games in said arcs about a size and a half to double CS3's size and have you play as Gralsiters (either Kevin and Riese or some other one or 2 different groups at the same time) who travel to the remaining countries to deal with some issue related to Gralsiter (I know the spellings wrong, I don't feel like looking it up right now) work/ouroboros on the Merkbah airships. If they dedicate 2 chapters to each country that around roughly the length of CS1 or 2's first 3 chapters along with a prologue, intermission, and epilogue chapter at Arteria for each game they could do solid worldbuilding while addressing all of the remaining countries that don't have a game/mobile game/anime dedicated to it (I don't see them doing a full on console game for Jurai, Ambria, any game that may get a mobile/anime tbh)....and in some cases they may not even need any game at all and just refer to said country only (Remefiera for example may not need one as outside of being referred due to its medical technology being the best i can't really think of any mention of stuff going wrong there so it may just wind up being a reference only country...granted the fact nothing seems to go wrong is suspicious in itself I guess so could lead to something too). After said 2 game (could even go to 3) arc they could do 1 final game where everyone comes back to take on the big bad (whether that's Ouroboros or something else) in some new location (my guess would be either a hidden island, somewhere deep in Isca (saw the current map and it's the most suspicious as that's ground zero for the disaster happening in Zemruia right now), a giant satellite which will be the main base for the enemy group (depending on how big an entire game could be needed and with the addition of the space rockets mentioned in Kai it seems to lend credence to the end of the series likely taking us off the planet), the moon (also for similar reason as the satellite), or Gehenna itself (if demons are involved in the disasters in Zemuria i can see that being the final location with maybe Arteria as the final game's main setting if they were to make Arteria located on top of the gates to Gehenna after having sealed it in the past (this is my own speculation btw, nothing official on anything to Gehenna possibly being sealed was released...well to my knowledge anyway...this is just a trope you see a lot in games/fantasy genre in general so it wouldn't surprise me).
      This idea may not be one many people may like but it would explain how there could only be 10% left (granted i think Kondo's highballing the number...probably closer to 80 to 85% is my guess). The thing is they also don't really need to do anything with every single country either, at most references that they exist is all they need, not games, and maybe a map to see the layout of the country/cities locations in it for those who'd like to see Zemuria as a whole...honestly since it's near or Arteria is in it all we really need is Leman State and maybe 1 country from far east Zemuria just to get a look at the region (granted they seemed to move most of the eastern like culture either to Calvard or Crossbell's eastern quarter due to the eastern half of Zemuria becoming more and more uninhabitable which may get boring really fast if they made a whole game in a deserted region without any towns, npcs, life in general...we'll probably explore parts of it for a chapter or so where wo go to a dungeon and field map located in such a region but that'd be about it). Hell trying to go after each country could just lead to worse writing tbh as it may come acrossed as forced more than anything else (ya I explained a way yo could in the previous paragraph but they don't really need to do that...just choosing 1 or 2 more countries would be enough (1 has to be Arteria no matter what...even if it's just the final game's location whether they pull the church is evil or going here leads to the final boss's region idea)...so I'd say 1 part of isca and Arteria (maybe Leman State as well since it surrounds Arteria) should be the last arc or two and that's it...the other countries can be footnotes at most and either of these could lead to the end of the series as I already mentioned how Arteria could be handled as the final game but as for Isca it too could work if a location there is what's causing the disaster in Zemuria's eastern half so we could more or less be traveling from wester to easter/center Isca to take on whatever is causing the issue while running into some random pockets of civilizations/refugees along the way who have their own plot points going on to resolve that may connect to the final conflict as well.
