Grand Theft Audio - As Good As It Gets (Steve Thompson Mix)

A long lost remix of the song? Found this on a compilation called 'The Cornerstone Player 023' - from what I can tell it seems to be a promo CD for maybe an internet radio station or the likes.
Honestly... it's not as good a version as the alternate mix, or even the album version, in my opinion. There's a few weird choices in it, and removing the "Is this as good... as it gets..." part should honestly be considered a crime. The instrumental version of that part is interesting to hear, but it just doesn't hit the same. Basically, have uploaded this more as a curiosity than anything else, as I'd never heard it before and I imagine there's a good few other people who haven't either.

Thanks so much for uploading this version! I remember listening to it a few years ago as part of some Gran Turismo 3 soundtrack upload but that got taken down for some reason, this is my first time hearing this version in a while

I literally only discovered it the other month! I noticed the title on a compilation CD that I was able to find on Discogs, and bought it, thinking it might be the actual source of the version I now know to be from the early advance copies of the album.
Funny thing btw in the mix of this one - you'll notice they've cut out the middle 8 with the female vocals, but if you listen on headphones, at the point that part of the song would normally kick in, you can hear the first few syllables of it in the right ear. Think they missed a bit!
