I used to have one of the Frontman 25 amps, and I played a Gretsch double jet through it, and sounded awesome!! I could nail that Malcom Young AC/DC sound with that setup! I need to find another one soon!

I've got one for 10 years, very happy. What's your amp settings in this vid, and tone settings on guitar? Thanks

Once I swapped the speaker out on mine it came to life. Great little amp. Not a fan of the distortion though.

May I ask what speaker you put in there?

@@cleelee69 I swapped out a Celestion 10” from an old Line 6 Spider 2x10 I had laying around. It honestly sounds incredible now. Much more clarity and low end, especially when it comes to cleans. The built in distortion sounds much better with this speaker although I prefer to use a RAT distortion pedal. You can pick up a celestion speaker on Amazon relatively cheap. Just make sure you match the Ohms.

What's the first song that you play in this demo? Blues travelers? Chili peppers?

@@1peanutI was wondering because I had the Series 1 version that actually had an external speaker jack. That one seemed to be better built for gigging than the Series 2.

i have done this mod with almost every little amp i ever owned. I have a 4x12 cab so i just disconnect the internal speaker from the amp then solder a 5 foot speaker cable to the 2 internal speaker wires with a 1/4 speaker jack on the other end to plug into the 4x12 cab. Sometime i drill a hole to run the wire thru the back of the amp. It is amazing how good a cheap little solid state amp can sound thru a decent 4x12 cab. It is fantastic. If you want to get real fancy you can drill a hole in the back of the amp and mount a 1/4 inch female jack. then you just connect the amp and the cabinet via the jacks. I been playing with stuff like this since i was 12 just out of pure necessity. We never had money to by real gear so i had to improvise.
