I just heard of notebook from a friend and I had no idea what it was about and I thought it was some kind of horror movie actually, until I searched it up on RUclips, and found this extremely romantic video!! 😍😍🥺🥺💖💖

I cannot for the life of me understand the love for this movie. Creepy young man spots a girl he never laid eyes on before and decides he HAS to have her, no matter what, even threatening to drop himself off a ferris wheel in front of her and her DATE if she doesnt agree to go out with him. He then over the course of their very short relationship belittles her, picks fights with her, dares her to nearly get killed by a car how romantic and hilarious to nearly die!) and she in turn physically abuses him and shouts and screams at him, and cries over him, but hey, hollywood does like to confuse volatile and toxic with passionate and romantic. He STILL barely knows the girl when he decides to renovate a house just for her, and write to her every single day like a deranged stalker. She meets a wonderful solider who ACTUALLY respects her and loves her, but he must be just too boring for her, she does love the drama. Overacted, miscast, (Ryan looks NOTHING like a young James Garner, ffs..James is much better looking, sorry) and they have ZERO chemistry. The only thing to recommend this film is how beautiful Rachel looks with her strawberry blonde hair and cute outfits, and the beautiful southern setting.
CLEARLY this is a film that was never made for someone with your taste so luckily you have the choice to not put yourself through watching it ever again. However for those that love this film which I include myself in, we can watch it again with not only realising the issues between them and still enjoying the story but also not letting others bother us who seem to express superiority in their opinion and patronise in a condescending attitude. The beauty of us as humans is that we have different thoughts and opinions and we see things differently from many others. Nothing wrong if it's not right for you but there is also nothing wrong for those that love this film and consider it a favourite.
This is pretty realistic if you happen to be in relations with those of the B cluster. I’ve actually done the middle of the street thing. That’s how I found out about this movie. It was dangerous and weird. But in an interesting exhilarating way. Guys like him does actually exist. Because in the US, the love at first sight thing was very lectured and taught and believed at the time
