Feeling stuck? Get unstuck with lines, just lines.

Current supplies: My paper is cut into 3.5x3.5 inch squares from 70lb sketch book paper, my pen is a Marvy Le Pen Drawing pen size 03, my pencil is a student grade Royal HB. If I color I will use either Prismacolor colored pencils or Artists Loft Water color dual tip markers.
A string is used to give a guide as to how to compose a tile. A string can be used as a literal 'border' to define an area or as a suggestion as to where to place a pattern. Sometimes in a finished tile the string can be clearly seen and sometimes it disappears into the work.
