I can't believe harley quinn and Superman have the same number of omnibus (for the modern age) batman is in a universe of his own at this point, they could create a batman comic where he tickles a gorilla for 40 issues and it would still receive an omnibus, while superman gets the 40th reprint of death and return..
With dawn of DC, action comics by PKJ and Superman by Joshua Willamson are both pretty solid. I am sure more modern Superman collections would come eventually.
I read these when they first came out and I remember really liking the flashbacks of Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson) in their early years within the New 52 Universe and really wanted a whole series of just that! Everything else was pretty forgettable to me.
@@adamhaught9667 meanwhile Dark Horse, Image & a few others are selling big books that are often built tons better. For a whole lot less than $70 cover price. It’s a major reason why I think about giving up on DC/Marvel hardcovers for good.
Can we have different heroes omnis? I mean except for the hideous Tom King's run on the character every batman related run after Morrison has been collected in an omnibus (except obviously the recent stuff). I get it, Batman sells but dropping Byrne or Johns' Superman wouldn't be so bad
I love your content but I see you are reluctant to say your actual opinion about it. I'd love to hear more a review or a personal opinion about the omni instead of story spoilers. That being said, thanks a lot for your great work ❤
When doing overviews I tend to stay neutral. Giving viewers all the info about the book and leaving it up to them to either buy, read or skip. I do have a segment called old reader/ new reader where I do review books or on my Saturday stream when someone asks my personal opinion. Thank you for the kind words.
You can usually tell Omar doesn’t like something because he’ll say “ I’m so glad this is being printed for other people that like it” like he says about the golden age dc omnibuses lol
Wound up just putting in my order for this omnibus. I had the TPBs of this but for my comics I still prefer to have them all hardback if possible. I traded in the past copies I had squirreled away and wound up trading the other softcover Joker Endgame and Death of the Family TPB for hardcover. I'll wind up getting the Snyder omnis at some point but wanted to make sure I got the editions with the complete crossover found in the Joker editions. I really like not feeling as if I'm missing part of a crossover and have one book cover that desire.
Hi guys just wanted to know if this omni or the Batman Eternal has any woke stuff since he doesn't mention anything about it in he's reviews and it happened with the King in Black omni that i bought and had those things in it so i would really appreciate it if you guys told me so i can buy it, thanks in advance
Yeah. Dick wakes up a couple of times. In bed. Then Tim has a nightmare and wakes up from it. The other waking up moment that happens in this book is a bit of a spoiler. So none of that. I hope that helps, now ima go nap.

Yeah it's ridiculous how Supes is disrespected in this format. John Byrne's run should have been an omnibus as well.

Does that maybe have something to do with the fact that the original creators families have been in litigation with DC over royalties?
Love the “where am I putting this on the shelf” add!
I want to see a Detective new 52 omnibus, I've been waiting for this for a long time!
Was there a series along batman new 52?
I've also been waiting ages for that to happen!
Batman by Tomasi and Gleason and Batman by Grant Morison with Detective comics. Those are the only ones I can think of.@@rayanknezic8682
And the N52 dark knight omnibus.
@@rayanknezic8682 it is both a good read and an important read, since it actually carries the origin story of N52 batman.
So glad we are getting more Batman omnis. We need a Legacy Omni and murder/ fugitive.

More DC Hardcover please
I need your most wanted batman omni video🥺
"Chappie Batman"... I always called him "Appleseed Batman".
Thanks for this overview! Can’t wait till I have this one. Ordered this Omni yesterday with big discount over here in the Netherlands 😊
100 dollars seams a little pricey for that small of an omnibus. They use to be 75 dollars
You can get it for 58 dollars
@cobain2261 online yeah I'm saying the cover prices for a omnibus that small use to be 75 dollars but I guess like everything prices are going up

Great book and will get it, but man that dust jacket spine is horrendous

The art looks great but I am on the fence because of the story.
If the story is good, NMC would have not held back praising it. You can guess the rest.

One of the coolest robin storeis loved it!

There was a time when Batman was just Batman and you didn't need a PhD to follow the storyline....
What other Bat Omni do I want?
Bronze Age all the way. Give me those classic stories and legendary artists.
I'm loving reading this, but I'm out of the loop. Why does Bruce Wayne not remember that he's Batman??
There is a storyline called Endgame in Scott Snyder’s run of Batman NU 52.
They should have added Robin War issues to pad it out.
James pronounces it TY-NAN
Hi
Hi again
@binayakbasu8075 My father’s side is, but I was born and raised in the US.
You make it sound like it’s a bad thing when you say, Batman is the patriarch
No, I make it sound like it’s a change when someone else plays that role.
