We no longer offer the 3d printed enclosures now that we have better CNC aluminum enclosures. We sell DIY part kits on our website if you want to build your own.
I'm not sure if I missed it, but is there a reason why you allow for that amount of slack in the wires? I'm planning on building my own soon and I'm just trying to figure everything out first.
@@AnalogboxmodsCanada thanks for the quick answer! But it looks much shorter and thinner when you put them side by side. Actually that's my goal, I was looking for a really compact dna75c mod that fits 25mm attys, and I didn't find any, so I started to look for a DIY solution and I ended on your page somehow. :) And tbh, the 18650 version you show in the video is exactly what I was lookimg for. :)
Hi, I ordered this kit several days ago and I’m getting everything I need together. What solder do you use/recommend? I’ve been vaping for 7yrs and this will be the first mod I’ve built not bought. Thx.
I use a thin (~0.032 in) rosin core, LEADED solder, the leaded stuff is easier to work with, just try not to breath in the fumes too much :). Also IMO flux is very important, I use a "no clean" rosin flux. If this is the order I think it is, I just applied the final coat of finish on the enclosure and it should ship tonight! Thanks for the order and have fun building!
I think the glue seams are just as strong as the rest of the mod but I'd still consider this a somewhat fragile mod, if you tend to be rough with your toys I don't think a 3D printed enclosure is the best option.
Analog Box Mods thank you for the response i was just curious on how it would hold up even tho i rarely drop any of my mods but i just want to also add i love your videos your really inspiring me to male my own box mod i just want to get a list of tools that i need to get started. Hey Thanks :) The Kits come with everything except the tools... So you'll need a soldering iron, solder, flux... some small pliers, screwdrivers... some expoxy and CA glue (crazy glue)... If you plan on cutting/drilling the enclosure yourself, some stepper frill bits, small files. I think that's pretty much it!
The 200/250 and 250c have the extra balance charging pins because multiple batteries are used, the 250c datasheet has wiring diagrams for 2s, 3s and 4s wiring, downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf starting on page14.
Yep that's good stuff for sure. How long (with your 3D printer) does it take to print off an enclosure that size ? I sent ya a email thru your site about a custom enclosure let me know if its possible. Great work man ! Peace

I'll be making one for 2x 18650 and 2x 20700, one of those will certainly fit a lipo. I already have the faceplate for the non-color dna75 which is the same as the DNA 200/250. Long story short, yes :).
Analog Box Mods thanks. The positive 510 seems thicker though.. I thought it’s the only one that’s 16AWG. I’m into building a single 18650 squonker with a 75C board that I ordered from your site, and I’m considering using only 18AWG for all wiring. would that be fine?
18AWG is fine on the battery side, but the minimum for the 510 is 16AWG according to the datasheet (page7), downloads.evolvapor.com/dna75color.pdf That being said, I've opened several big name commercial mods for repair and never saw anything bigger than 18AWG in there, if you don't constantly vape it at full power it's probably fine.

Thank you, I ordered a kit with a box from you. I've been wanting to 3d print a mod for a while but the designs on thingiverse aren't very good, yours looks much better.

If there is room for it, I like to allow for considerable slack, makes it easier to route wire and to remove components in case a repair is needed.
