Do you think you can do a video on top of the ME without the cover? I'm trying to put mine back together, and none of the videos and manuals I found of the ME are the Super which are different from the ME or too low quality to see what I need. I'm stuck trying to put the shutter button back on.
As I'm currently using the camera I'm hesitant to remove the top before I finished my shooting. Just incase I accidentally mess something up. Have you googled for the ME service manual or checked the Pentax forum? There's probably a few people on that forum that could offer help sooner. I wish you good luck
Hello Thomas! Tomás here! I'm a fan of your work. You've helped me a lot in my photography journey. Recently I ran into an issue trying to use your Canon picture styles, and I was wondering whether you've experienced as well or could know the solution. So I've been using your styles for some months saving the photos both JPEG and RAW. Recently I decided to give Darktable a chance to get better at photo editing, but when I import the RAW images into the program, all of your filters are lost. I would love to be able to import the images into Darktable with the picture styles loaded on, just so I could touch them up more, but building upon the existing filters. I've tried many options but nothing has come out. Have you experienced this issue as well? is there anything I could do to import the images into Darktable with the picture styles? The only way I can think of would be importing the images as jpegs, but as I understand, that is a no no in photography. I would really appreciate if you can help me out!! cheers!
I believe that's because nor Darktable or Lightroom have my profiles installed in them. The workaround is to use Canons raw processing software. It's free, just like eos utility.
Never had that problem, but I've seen people talking about shutters locking up while shooting in bulb or dark situations (beyond the meters) often by mistake. If there's working batteries in the camera, sometimes all that's needed is to work the mode wheel on the camera around and set it to. Unfortunately that's the only tip I can offer at the moment.
Wow, I was just talking outloud about how I needed to fix my light meter. Glad the Algorithm heard my need and fed this to my feed.
Hope this will fix your meter too
