Objectively, as a huge Whitney fan, some parts of this sound exactly like Whitney - from tone to runs it's a bit scarey. The difference is that she has more chest mix range than Whitney. She sounds nothing like Celine, who as far as tone, sounds nothing like Whitney.
Wendy Moten Rivals Phyliss Hyman and Whitney Houston. If God had wanted her at the top, she would have been, hands down, another great voice in the industry. But maybe God protected her, cause look what happens to gifted people who make it to the top in that industry.

It's a stormy night in Baltimore and my dog wanted to go outside in the backyard. He never likes being out there unless someone else is out there with him. Listening to this, i completely get it: the industry would never let Wendy be sucessfull. She sounded too much like Whitney and she also had the looks just like Nippy. As always, there is no space for 2 black talented girls. It is being going on and on like that. Of course Whitney is on a different level... there is no comparison. But that doesnt mean that Wendy couldnt have her place or is less talented. Its just that we grew in a Whitney's world and she really was in a league of her own. Anyway, im glad i found this. I didnt know Wendy had a record and didnt know she had tried before. Such a shame... she should have win the voice but, again, she is too good for that. God bless you Wendy.
