Hi Guys Your fishing trips looks realy nice, and you have some amazing fishing down there, I plan to make a trip to NZ i March 2020 and will stay around there for about a month. Are there some places that you can recommend, where I can rent equipment and get on some trips with some local guys. I live in Denmark and will have a trip together with my family in a mobilhome / RV for a month and have the possibility to drive to some places where the diving will be possible :-)
Lol

did you leave from toputopu?
Yep

Hy guys! Living in Tauranga , need a piece of advice how to pass all necessary trainings to spearfish...contact, phone numbers
youre a bit of a gun with the polespear eh?
You don’t have to spear all the big ones aye... they’re the breeders. Fish for the futer. All though Spear fishing is arguably the most sustainable method of fishing I think if done right
Correct and also every large male fish shot is not detrimental to breeding as even smaller males can dump milt in a broadcast spawn situation and fertilize the eggs that are being dumped. Killing females full of roe is detrimental to breeding and also taking small females as well as they have 1000s of eggs inside them. Also catching and releasing fish past 14 meters so that they die of barotrauma regardless and handling fish with bare hands before release. Thanks for the comment it's an important subject. I would prefer to kill one large fish over several smaller fish for meat and for future breeding. Smaller fish are breeders and smaller fish turn into larger fish, decimating the stocks of smaller fish will lead to poor spawns in the future.
