They’re pumping Rickey. I may have to recombine a split if I can’t find a queen. Initially the original queen cell vanished, yes the whole cell😲 Then I dropped in 3 frames of brood all in various stages.
I love the design with a ratchet strap. That is a lot easier and more secure than the lag bolt I use. I don't think I have ever seen a swarm trap look so good! Thank you Rickey!
Ralph, I about fell out of a tree last year carrying a large swarm trap up a tree, just knew I needed to make a change. This one is nice but my wife made a few upgrades for a friend and there beautiful. I will send a picture to you but don’t share it, because it is a surprise.

The only thing I would ask you to do is to take those design plans and put them on your website, then put a link to your website in the description of this video. .... and where do you get those hooks? edit: I see the plans at the 1:03 mark. Any chance you could put links to the Amazon parts in the description? And what size wood are you using for the box? 3/4" plywood? 1/2" ? You said to buy the Nuc box, lid, & base - from where?
