@Truth boy Actually Runaway is first song on Bon Jovi Bon Jovi, their debut album, but definitely they should give it a listen. In and Out Love was their big song off of 7800.
@Truth boy for sure, one of their best! Top 3 for me. Slippery #1, New Jersey #2, then Bon Jovi #3. I always liked 7800 too always thought it didn't get the credit it deserved!
I know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
To see any of these guys in concert in their prime you definitely needed to be in your late teens in the 80's... absolutely the best time to be a kid/young adult EVER. In many ways.
I saw them first time on the Slippery Tour in 87 with Cinderella as the opening act in Toronto, Canada man I use to go lots of concerts back then in the 80s.
My niece was three when the song came out she's to sing along in the backseat her lyrics were adorable. She would say shot to the heart you're to blame you give love a Band-Aid. Lol she thought he was shot in the heart and needed a Band-Aid. That's what I think of every time I hear this song. Great song.
What made Bon Jovi so popular was not just their looks (Which contributed greatly) nor their unique sound ... it was that Jon and Ritchie wrote songs that virtually anyone could relate. It was songs about friendships, relationships, hardships and the experiences and knowledge gained from simply growing up.
Right on, right on! My first Bon Jovi show was when they opened for RATT in support of their "7800^ Fahrenheit" album - it was Halloween night here in Augusta, GA and Stephen Pearcy (singer in RATT) came out and screamed, "HAPPY HALLOWEEN YOU CRAZY MOTHER FUCKERS!!!!!" Good times...
My son was about 2 and potty training when this song was out. He’d be running around in his little whitey tighties flexing his arms saying “bad name, bad name”. It was completely adorable
Half and Jai, I saw Bon Jovi for the first time in the mid 80's they were 1st group of 3 or 4 opening acts for David Lee Roth. I had never heard of them before and was not expecting anything special, man was I wrong. They rocked their asses off nearly stealing the entire show, check out their song that put them on the road to stardom, She's a Little Runaway. Thanks for the video
So many good Bon Jovi songs... careful you don't go down a hole and then have to change your channel to Half & Jai's Bon Jovi Channel. But if you do, then I'll still be here! lol
You two no doubt give some of the best reactions. No matter the genre, if you feel it, your heads can’t lie and just start moving and I’m here for it!!!
I really enjoy watching you two react so enthusiastically to these classics. It’s hard to put into words the feeling I get. I grew up listening to these bands...I was a teen when this album came out! Also, it’s so cool to see how much you love each other’s company. Makes me wish I had married.
What’s even greater about him is he owns a restaurant in NJ that strictly feeds the homeless for free and relies on donations❤️ Now that’s some rockstar stuff 🤘
Can I go back in time with you guys ? I've been to many concerts in my 60 years but there are so many more I wish I had seen ! Love you guys so much ! ✌❤🌻😷🎶
Loving your Bon Jovi reactions! Keep doing more. So many amazing songs. Even their songs that weren't released as singles are great songs to listen to. My sister and I had pics of Jon on our bedroom walls back in the day.
I’m in the UK and i’ve seen Bon Jovi 7 times in concert since 1995 to present , they are Amazing in concert, they Rock and Kick Ass , easily my fav group , got every song they have ever done , True LEGENDS , I Love Bon Jovi , love this video and both you guys make me laugh and love watching your reactions and i’m lucky cos i was a teenager growing up in the 80’s , my fav era
I was lucky enough to see Bon Jovi in concert on 3 different occasions soon after they released their awesome albums and went on tour! My all time favorite rock band. You mentioned Stevie Ray Vaughn. I was so extremely lucky to see him in concert as the opening act for Huey Lewis. I had never even heard of this guy at the time. Within 5 minutes I was hooked on SRV! What I saw and heard that night has never and will never be topped! RIP SRV!
Bon Jovi was my first ever Arena Rock concert. I was 13 years old and my sister and I along with 2 cousins had tickets in the 3rd row. I was one of those screaming girls! It remains one of my favorite music memories ever! So many middle school/high school memories are being brought back by you two. Love it! Thank you!
Soundtrack of my youth indeed. I wish y'all did have a time machine so you could go see Bon Jovi, GnR & Stevie live. I'm old enough & blessed to have seen them all. I used to go a lot of concerts back in the day when they didn't cost so much lol. I wish Bon Jovi could see how much y'all enjoy jammin to iconic hits! Love, hugs & laughter 💞🤗😀💖🤩
You will really enjoy Never Say Goodbye, by Bon Jovi. whether you listen to it with your signifigant other or just with old friends, either way it is perfect. I swear you two will get up and start slow dancing to that one. What a great jam.
Jersey guy here loving your reactions. You guys are so authentic. Bon Jovi has so many rockers. Make Jai shed a tear w "Always " or " Bed of Roses" "Keep the Faith" is a great rocker And the best is They're still doing it today at such a high level
ps : I feel like you two and I are mirror images (musically reacting, at least) I'm a 50+ white woman from the East Coast. I can vibe to a gigantic variety of music. The early 70's thru the early 90's are my kind of music and I go back and forth between genres. For example: Journey, Lionel Ritchie, Hall & Oates were my youth. I went thru a metal stage where Ozzy, Godsmack , etc were my vibe. Salt 'n Pepa / Luther Vandross were my thing for a bit and now I'm in love w/ Ludacris and 2000's era hip-hop. Go figure!!
I saw him love a year before COVID and it is one of the best shows I’ve seen. He still has the moves and a great voice. He came out into the middle of the crowd and sang too!
Half and Jai you both are so sweet funny and very entertaining. I have enjoyed your channel. I know it's so fun doing something you love with someone you love. That's rare and a true blessing. ❤️
I had a huge crush on Richie Sambora, the guitar player, back in the day. He was married to Heather Locklear for quite a few years. Hugs from Nola Nikki, y'all make me smile. Jai's laugh is infectious.
I saw Bon Jovi live "back in the day" at the Dean Dome on the UNC campus.... When I was stationed at Camp Lejeune in the late 80s... Skid Row opened for them, it was lit!
I grew up in the 60's and up. So I lived and liked the music and went to some concerts, And I have seen some major Bands in Night Clubs to. All Rock N' Roll.
It's so nice to see somebody appreciate our music just like it's so nice to see somebody appreciate your guys's music there's Beauty in every type of music. That is why we should see beauty and all types of music because there's greatness and everything.
I've been to both Bon Jovi and Guns and Roses they are the Bomb. I'm only 32 but they still do shows now and then. They rock live! Best concerts I've been too.
This was my 2nd concert. Skid Row opened up for them. I remember begging my mom to let me stay up for Friday Night Videos to watch this video lol No ring tones back then! Pagers weren't even a thing for the general population when this came out haha
You two are great! And I see you are Bob Jovi fans now! As another commenter suggested, you might like Def Leppard! “Rocket”, “Rock of Ages”, “Pour Some Sugar on Me”. Playing cassettes in my Camaro days, HaHa!!😊
Why not go to a Bon Jovi concert, he still rocks! He had to cancel this year but he’ll be back. The audience sings every song and you won’t hear his voice during Wanted and Living On A-Prayer because the audience is so loud. All generations, all races, country boys to goth folk; everyone there has a great time!
No cell phones back then guys so no ringtone of this 😂, at least not really outside of the mobile phones they started out inside of cars. This was the soundtrack to my high school years ♥️
In my opinion there has never been a better time to go to concerts and party than there was back in the late 80s. The music back then was just unbelievable and there are so many of the singers from these hair bands that can sing their ass off. Please do a reaction video of steelheart's I'll never let you go and listen to the pipes that guy has. It gives me chills. Long live the 80s 🤟
Your reactions are so fun. I want to thank you for that. I want to give you props for putting a smile on my face and hopefully many others during such a crazy time. Love you guys!!
Bon Jovi is awesome in concert. Check out a group called Poison. Another group from the 80's with Guns N Roses and Def Leppard (They're awesome also. I've seen them twice.) Poison and Def Leppard.
Lol, y’all are never going to believe this 😂. As I’m watching this, I got a notification that Upchurch just posted a new video. After I finished this, I clicked over to see what Upchurch was up to, and he was singing THIS song!! No joke and too funny!
@@jzekas21 Always was a bigger hit than Bed of roses, bed of roses was number 10 in the US charts and preformed similarly around the world, Always got to number 4 in the US charts and hit number one in much of Europe and Canada and 2 in the UK it was only outsold as a Bon Jovi single by songs like keep the faith, living on a prayer and it's my life, hence it is still to this day their biggest power ballad.
I guess They really are apart of my life, I went skydiving 2 years ago for my birthday.. Had it recorded.. I got to pick 3 songs to be played when they edited my video.. As I'm walking to get into the plane, Its my life by Bon jovi is playing!!🙏🙋😎
Great song with that catchy "hook"..... Rock on! Music brings everyone together, we should demand our leaders have music listening sessions and maybe life would be better. Thanks for sharing my peeps.
This song, Wanted, and Living on a Prayer were all on the Slippery When Wet album, their third album. The 2 albums before this one had some good songs on them. The Slippery album also had Let It Rock, Raise Your Hands, Never Say Goodbye, Wild In The Streets, ..... I remember when this album hit the store shelves. It was incredible. Not a bad song on it. This album was played heavily for 2 years wherever young people gathered. Then the New Jersey album came out. I got tired of them after a while and did not listen to them for a very long time. But the songs bring back great memories and make me smile. They wrote great songs in the 80's and were a big part of the soundtrack of our lives. I'm not a fan of what they do now, but I'm glad they are still around and respect that they are doing their thing.
I have seen both Bon Jovi and Guns and Roses multiple times, the first time I saw both of them they were opening acts Bon Jovi opening for Ratt and Guns and Roses opening up for Motley Cruz, I now go see either band when they come to south Atlanta or Nashville, either city .
Love seein' y'all rock out! Slippery When Wet was one of the best albums! Omigod--y'all cracked me up about the ring tone. You are probably right. Can you imagine? LOL
When we get past this virus and bands are touring again, y'all should absolutely go see Bon Jovi in concert! They are amazing! Hands down best concert I'd ever been to, so good I went again the next time they came to my city (I never buy concert tix twice lol I'm a cheapskate). Tickets were even super reasonable.
First song I ever heard and video I saw by Bon Jovi, which is also one of my Favs, but they have never performed in concert that I have seen is She Don't Know Me! If you find time please give that one a listen!
I went to this tour and it was fantastic. On the down side when this song came out i was 17 years old and going through an awful, awful breakup with one of the loves if my life. This song did actually help though and ended up one of my favorite songs. Of course everytime I hear it I think of that lost love.lol. Oh, funny fact, he actually lives right down the road from me. Lol. Great reaction, and GOOD VIBES!!!
Just in case you two wanted to know this is from the album Slippery When Wet. It also has Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead Or Alive and Never Say Goodbye on that album. The album New Jersey has Lay Your Hands On Me, Bad Medicine, Born To Be My Baby and I'll Be There For You on it. Just a little knowledge for ya in case you fixin' to expand your CD or iPod downloads collection ;-) Ya Dig! ;-)
I’m glad people are starting know what real music sounds like, I don’t like heavy metal and I’m not a rocker, but I’m a huge Bon Jovi fan, he’s the best.
As soon as Covid gets under control, ya'll still could. They're still working. I'm pretty sure they were touring or planning one when the world shut down.

You must've been one hell of a mother! You were bringing that boy up right! I had my toddlers singing everything from motley cruel to joan jett...lol
Bon Jovi concerts were a lot of fun!
Way back, from 16-20 I used to go to concerts all the time. Y'all would be SO much fun at a concert!
Way back, haha. This is the most underrated comment, take my like.
I saw them on this tour, even painted my nails red. LOL! What a dork!
You two would be the best goers at a concert like this! You're so fun!
I've been to Joni and guns I'll tell you I look back on it now it makes me feel old but it gives me good feelings reminiscing on the music of this era
I never saw a Bon Jovi video where they were just working. They always have fun and I'm sure the same with their concerts.
