Lyrics:
What you talking 'bout?
You say you don't like the jungle beat
What you talking 'bout?
You say you don't like the jungle beat
You must be crazy
You must be crazy
You must be crazy
What you talking 'bout?
You say you don't like the jungle beat
What you talking 'bout?
You say you don't like the jungle beat
You must be crazy
You must be crazy
You must be crazy

Really needed this tonight. Miss you, Rico. Miss you, Terry. Miss you, John. x0x0x0x0x
This song is a two tone ska isn't it? I just start to explore ska for about 3 week's ago and still hard to know the difference between ska and reggae
Most, if not all of the kids in the video lived in Foleshill and went to the local comprehensive school, Foxford. My good friend Steve Macdonald (RIP) and cousin George also star in the video. I would have been there that day but I was at work and my 15 seconds of fame never was...The best 2tone video ever!
Beautiful song. It's incredible the mood of th theme, with Rico Rodríguez singing. The begining of eighty's is a great time, with the ska of 2 Tone, Special, Bad Manners, The Selecters, Madness and the reggae of Bob Marley. This music influence allá the rest. It's imposible for me listen another music.
I cannot express how happy this video makes me.
SOCA MUSIC !!
The Specials could play anything and do it well.
Living in Hawaii there is a cover of this song that comes in the radio all the time. I actually had no idea this was a specials song till now.
it was written by rico rodriquez, trombonist in the specials, whom he joined after a long career in jamaica and uk making classic tunes
I miss these days 😢
Larga vida a The Specials ya sin el gran Terry Hall, que buena colaboración está con Rico Rodríguez 😎

Noel's Café, a West Indian café on Station St West in Foleshill Coventry. It was just down the road from the legendary live music venue, The General Wolfe.
@@julieadams1044 The Heath Hotel was my local, despite the fact that the Wolfe was marginally nearer to walk. The Specials under the name of the Automatics (or possibly the Hybrids) played their debut gig in the Rainbow Lounge at the Heath in October 1977, supporting, amongst others, Squad, fronted by Terry Hall. Jerry Dammers had to play his keyboards off the stage with his back to the audience because there wasn’t enough room. I could have been in the bar that night, oblivious to the beginning of a new era…
Musical Youth did a version of this song on the Pass the Dutchie album, without the Calypso breaks. Still it was not bad. Was Rico in The Skatellites?
He was taught young to play the trombone by his slightly older schoolmate Don Drummond at the Alpha Boys School... But no, he had not play with the Skatalites. His debut in Jamaica was with guitarist Ernest Ranglin and pianist Théo Beckford!
@@CasimirLeYeti Good Day, I got a Don Drummond album at a Skatellites show in NYC over 30yrs ago. I bought many albums that night. My favorite is a Wailers album with Bob on the cover, in a suit and short haircut. I got to go back stage and get my Skatellites albums autographed by Lloyd and Tommy. Still have them, still play them . SKAMUSIC ✌️
Heeeeey every one, it is La Fiesta!!!
