- This video finds us back walking the plowed fields of Louisiana, back to our roots. We found some really cool arrowheads as well as some other artifacts but there is a surprise in this video you don’t want to miss. Randy finds a very special point and it is not the one in the thumbnail but it really does show where his heart is. Plus plenty of adventure and exploring the outdoors.

Congrats Randy on becoming a grandpa! Keep on hunting and congrats again!
Thanks and GL&HH.
Congratulations Randy, on your first grandson, Beckett! Nice point too. Nice finds all the way around, guys. 😊
Thanks and thanks.
You fellas and the PBR boys have renewed my interest in hunting Native American relics 👍🏼
So my 9 yr old son and I are actively trying to find a spot here in Lamar/ Forrest counties to find some points 😁 Any of you guys want to share a spot with me that isn’t too hard to get to it’d be MUCH appreciated 👍🏼 I’m not physically able to do the kayaking or rock climbing so it limits our hunting 😏We went to a spot last week that was supposed to be easy and I ended up waste deep in a mud pocket 🤨😒after an hour of trying to get out , the mud claimed my hiking boots and I left limping , embarrassed and covered in muck 🥴 I’m not giving up though , I’m determined to see that look on my kids face when he finds his first arrowhead !!!
Thanks. We are thrilled that we have renewed you interest in arrowhead hunting. It's a great pastime. We don't have anything in that area that is easily accessible. We truly wish we could help and wish you the best of luck and happy hunting.
Nice pieces, guys! And gorgeous grand baby, Randy! Congrats!
Thanks, thanks and thanks! We appreciate it.
Looks like another great trip, boys; and special congrats to Chance and Randy
Thanks Don. It was a good day but it will be our only chance to hunt these fields this year but we have a good lead on another one. Wish us luck.
Beautiful material in today's finds. That bull's-eye one is amazing!
Thanks. That would have been one fine piece for Kenneth's collection.
The surprise is lovely, and the finds amazing!
Thanks! We appreciate it.
Congratulations on the new grand baby...I'd also like to wish you all spike, randy, kenneth, and the rest of you good ole boys....a very happy safe and healthy happy thanksgiving day...bless you all with good health, happiness and good fortune...
Thanks and a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours David and may God bless.
Congrats on that baby and the point !!!!!
Thank you so much!
Your presentation of the finds is stellar and I cant commend you enough.
Thanks. We are glad you like it. They are kind of becoming our halmark.
That tip with the bullseye has a perfect heart in the middle.
Yep, isn't it beautiful. Just imagine if it had been whole.
Might not be whole but beautiful colors and again guys, the composition of the final photos is awesome.
Randy does do a fantastic job on the pictures. Thanks for letting him know.
sweet finds you are the kind of guys it would be fun to hunt with thanks for sharing
Thanks. That means a lot to us.
Thank you very nice! Love this channel.
Thanks. We appreciate the kind words.
Great video, you guys are the best. Can't wait until the next time.Wish you the best and pull one for me.
Thank you Mark. Always great to hear from you my friend.
That bullseye really jumps out in the group shot. Congrats on the new relic hunter!
Thanks. Yeah, I sure do wish that bullseye point had been whole but then I wish they were all whole.
Wow just wow!
Thanks. We are glad you enjoyed it.
I get as excited as you guys do when you pull'em out better than expected. Double fist pumps! lol And congratulations papaw
Thanks. The excitement is contagious isn't it?
Congratulations grandpa, what a great idea for framing and hanging in the baby's room. You all had some amazing finds. What a great hunt. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Thanks for watcing and for taking the time to leave us a great comment. GL&HH
Nice field hunt for you guys. Right up my alley. That was a real haul of artifacts and some real beauties. Congratulations on the new grandchild Randy. I hope your hunting season continues.
Thanks Tom. It's always good to get back in a field and do some walking. Thanks again and good luck to you and Pop Jon.
Awesome hunt guys!!! Congrats to Randy and that beautiful grand baby boy!!!! Some gorgeous finds guys and at first glance, that one Randy found with the really cool base looks kinda Hardin-ish!!! Sweet point for sure!! Loved it all fellas and can’t wait for the next!!! Congrats to u all!!
Thanks Mike. Hardin was what we though too. It was tough hunting. The fields were perfect again but we have picked up the vast majority of the good stuff in the top few inches and we didn't get to a couple of our fields and by the time we will get a chance to go back the grass will be too high. Thanks again buddy and good luck to yall. Miss yall!
Hey brothers great hunt think the one with nice base was a big creek and Beckett's is called an Austin great vid guys primitive projectiles& relics congratulations with new addition to your guys family I am Oct baby myself but keep me coming guys your pottery is drying BTW hope u guys enjoy when you get it
Thanks so much for everything, watching, the comments and for making the pottery. Enjoying it will be an understatement. Can't wait! Thanks again and GL&HH up there.
Great video,I love finding tools please show us!
I've found lots of tools on my place, including axes, mortor and pestles, knives, some beautiful scrapers.
Thanks! Will do!
always look forward to seeing new videos from you guys! love them
Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave us a great comment.
I’m catching up on some of your older vids since I subscribed. I think the thing I enjoy most is your pure unadulterated enthusiasm for your hobby. I believe you’re as happy with brokes as for complete points. It’s pretty obvious that the camaraderie you enjoy amongst you is as important as the finds. You just pulled out the beveled with the clunky base followed by the Grandson find. Anyhow, keep walkin’ and floatin’ ! Thanks for the fun and the education in your great vids.
Incidentally, I ain’t to sure about that “car wash” trick !
Thanks! Glad you're catching up on the vids. Honestly, to us everything that has been worked is an artifact. We have saved literally a couple hundred pounds of flakes and chips. The brokes are still important artifacts. I have seen museums with lesser artifacts on display. We're glad our enthusiasm is obvious to you and hope others can see it as well. Thanks for watching and for the great comment.
Me neither. I keep telling Randy he's gonna end up with Anthrax or something worse.
I’m delighted to see you sharing your treasures with your grandson. I’m 74 years and recently decided I wanted to determine where my points ended up going when the end comes. I’ve given some frames to friends and some to my 3 grand nephews. I’ll probably continue to give away my collection to family and friends that exhibit an interest. Pass them on.
One of my biggest concerns over passing on is what to do with my collection. My son who is 31 has no interest in hunting artifacts now but says he definitely wants my collection just because it is mine. He promised to keep it and never part with any of it.That makes me feel better.
Score!!!!!
Nice stem points and really cool scraper!!!
Congrats Randy on grandchild. I’m going to be a grandpa next month:)
Really enjoyed video 👊
Thanks and congratulations to you too.
Big congrats Randy on the birth of your first grandson!!! Very cool giving him the first whole point you found after his birth. I did that with the birth of my daughter. The first good artifact I found went to here and it was a bead the size of a cheerio. Awesome video Awesome finds!! Take care and good luck on your future hunts!!
Thank you very much! It took Randy about three weeks to find a whole point and I think he was getting a little anxious lol. Thanks again for watching and for the great comment. GL&HH to you too.
Nice gentlemen. Congratulations to you and yours Randy.
Thanks.
Wonderful colors .. wonderful finds ..
Thank you sir and GL&HH to you.
My heart is truly in it!! Iv gone arrow head crazy since I made my first video a month ago!! Iv gone were no one but water moccasins go , to try and find one!!!😂😂😂! Iv learned alot from yalls videos!! U good ole boys are a bunch of really cool Rock heads!!!😂
Thanks. We appreciate the great comment. lol Yep, finding arrowheads ain't easy but it is fun and the rush you get when you find one is what we all chase. Thanks again and GL&HH.
Congrats on becoming a grandfather , I became one about 4 months ago . Y'all had some really great finds out there . The one a around 9:00 looks a lot like a Hardin .
Thanks and congratulations to you on becoming a grandparent. We were thinking Hardin too.
Please make more arrow Head hunting videos soon please. You guys are the best.
Thanks we have one coming out in a few hours.
Awesome as always great finds broke or not film them all some of us would crap our pants right now just for a broke. Thanks for another awesome hunt...
Thanks. I know the feeling. Brokes are artifacts too and they aren't making any more them either.
Killer finds guys gotta love it
Thanks.
Great video as always
Really nice artifacts for everyone...that is always a plus.
Congratulations guys
Keep em coming
Thanks Scott. Yep, it sure makes the ride home a lot easier lol but it's fun no matter what we find as long as somebody finds something. Take care my friend and tell my "buddy" Butch I said hello.
Lol I will I promise
Great finds guys! Great video! Beautiful material!
Thanks Jon. Always good to hear from you.
Alot of nice woodland stuff you guy found got to get yall down ro catahoula to find some evans points ... my favorite double barb points
Thanks! That would be nice. I have found one double barbed point (broken of course) in one of these fields but I'm not sure if it is an Evans or a Tangipahoa, not even sure of the difference. They are great points for sure. Thanks again and we may have to figure out a way to get down that way.
Awesome finds!
Thanks.
Congrats Grandpa Randy. May the Great Spirit always bless Beckett's path.
Always enjoy the videos fellas. Watching it on my 55" always gives you the sense of being there, and your camera work of course. It always puts me in a feel good mood, and that's highly appreciated. LA does have some neat materials, the heart bullseye is kool as it gets, definitely a Heartbreaker. Though y'all did fantastic for that field, sure did have the older stuff in it. Randy's beveled point reminds me of Hardin. Think y'all have them down there, plus isn't a lot of that material a Jasper, red and yellow? Sure is pretty stuff. Hope to see you fellas back in it soon. Best wishes Spike, Randy and Kenneth (which he's definitely grown his way right in, watching him jump up and down from across the field, that's what we always hope to see from our hunting partners).
Thanks so much Mike. I watch everything on my TV. It is so much better than on a phone or even a computer. We were thinking Hardin on Randy's point too. We are told the vast majority of the material we find down here is Mississippi Citronelle gravel chert or river rock. There are other materials though such as Tallahatta quartzite/sandstone and there is some jasper, red and yellow. I believe the broke Randy found early in the video is red jasper. We have been hunting a couple of these these fields for about 25 years and a couple for about 20 years and have picked up a ton of stuff out of them, mostly broke stuff but still artifacts just the same. We have gotten most of the stuff above the plowline for sure. Digging in this soil is tough but we'll be back at it soon. Thanks again my friend and stay safe and good luck!
I've got it just as bad as you guys; I just don't have the primo sites you do! You guys are SO lucky to live in an area so obviously loaded with artifacts!
Thanks. We do have a few artifacts but we usually have to travel a couple hours to get to a good spot.
Fairly new sub here. My name is Thomas...I'm in Harrisburg, Pa. I've been binge watching your videos and I think yall are just awesome. I know many people who have talked about finding some artifacts around my area, and I want to go get em!!! Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks! We are glad to know we have help kindle a spark in you.
Great video guys as always That one Randy found might be a Hardin
Thanks DW. Hardin is what we thought too
You boys found some nice artifacts. I enjoyed it. Thank you Spike , Randy and Kenneth.
Thank you Tommy for always watching and leaving a comment. We appreciate it.
Hey my Friend foundyou !! Nice video !
Hey Bill. Glad you found me and I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Look on Proxibid.com arrowhead auction 11/24 I just saw have a great day !!
Thanks Bill.
and Happy Thanksgiving.
Man every time I watch yalls videos I get the fever to go find some points! Congrats on all the awesome finds!
Thanks Brandon. I know what you mean. Everytime I see yall bottle digging I want to get out and dig for bottles lol. That means we are making good videos that inspire people. Good luck out there.
Enjoy the enthusiasm when you have a find especially Kenneth's jumping up & down👍nice finds
Thanks. It's all about having fun and enjoying the finds. We get so excited because we usually go so long between finds lol. GL&HH
Congratulations on the grandkid Randy!!! It's a shame the farm equipment breaks all them points.
Thanks. Yeah, that's the double edge sword of hunting plowed fields. The disk exposes them but damages so many in return.
Go Kennth. Whoo-ooo-ooo. You own the discovery dance.😄
lol Yeah he deserved it. He didn't find a whole point last year walking these fields. Always nice to hear from you Julie.
Even the broke ones are pretty, don't you know.
They sure are.
If your wondering I do watch all of your videos I just don’t comment that much. Anyways Great Hunt!
Thanks buddy. I wasn't wondering at all. I don't get to comment on everything I watch either. Good luck to you out there.
Man, those are great finds! Over here in GA, we're proud even to find a broken point! Your excitement is contageous, guys! And congrats on the grandbaby, Randy, he's a big boy!
Thanks for watching and for the comment. We get excited because it is hard finding them over here too lol.
Congrats on becoming a Grandpaw Randy!! Awesome video as always.
Thanks and thanks.
Congrats on the Heartbreaker relics artifact hunter, I am about to be a great grandad in days if not hours.
Thanks and congratulations to you too!
Hey I liked the ground view with the camera on that young Mans beautiful point. Like that awesome scraper I don't blame you for filming it. Kiiiilll shoooot. LOL sing it Spike. Awesome to hear that point is got a good home! Congrats Randy! Thank you all for a great video. Always edited pro!
Thanks Calvin. We're always trying something different with the camera. Good luck to you my friend. It's time to kill that big buck!
Great video; Thanks for all of 'em! Can't beat field hunting for just pain fun! That Southern Hardin gets you back to Late Early Archaic, about 8,000 to 8,500. I wouldn't be too surprised to see a San Patrice come out of there. It probably doesn't have a bunch of them under there, but your getting too close for there to be none. I hunt a field in Jones County (MS) that has produced hundreds of stemmed points, but only one Southern Hardin that I know of. I know of 4 San P's from there including one broken one.
Thanks Rob. We figured it was a Hardin but didn't really want to say because we have been wrong before lol. I have one San Patrice from this spot for sure and possibly two others (damaged but I'm pretty sure that's what they are). We are the only people hunting these fields and I think this is the only Hardin from here. We may have a busted base to one but to tell you the truth there have been so many broken bases come out of here I couldn't say for sure. Field hunting has got to be the most relaxing way to hunt artifacts. That is where most of us started so it is always great to get back in the fields. Unfortunately this will be our only chance to get in them this year. The rain had us messed up at first and now the grass is too high to hunt. We didn't even get into two of them. Thanks again Rob and as always it's great to hear from you.
Sorry for the long comment but it’s needed. You guys are the best! My favorite part is the genuine reaction to an artifact recovery that comes through every single time, beyond a doubt each of you loves what you do. We are lucky enough that you share it with us in such public manner so thank you. Also, Congrats to Randy! Super excited for you brother. Kenneth awesome first! Keep up the good work Spike! Love to you all from Virginia. Ralph
Thanks Ralph. You know you can never leave a comment that is too long. We enjoy them to the max. Hope yall are doing good up there in Va. I love the pic of your US plate for your channel pic. GL&HH to you buddy and thanks again for the great comment.
Great video and artifacts guys and spike if yall like red artifacts and points yall need get down here to Florida and visit me..alot of red points at my sites
Red jasper was a favorite stone in my spots too
Thanks man. We were playing up the red material because a friend of ours really wants to find a red point bad lol.
Id be happy with any of those finds. Great video as always! I like the scraper! Any advise on how to find sites in the woods to dig like y'all have with pinebelt relics. What should I look for? Hills or bottoms? Thanks!
Thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment and for the great question.
1. Look for high ground just out of the floodplain if not
plowed checked for gullies or washes with bare ground. Once you find bare
ground look for debitage (chips or flakes of broken flint or chert). If this
stuff is present you are on a site. If you find larger worked pieces that is
even more proof.
2. Look for hard bottom creeks or streams with pockets of
gravel or stone. Where there is much gravel look closely for work material
(stones that have been flaked).
3. Sift the pockets of gravel through a shaker or sifter
taking care to look closely for chips flakes or ultimately tools and points.
Here is a couple links to some videos that may help.

Thanks for answering my question! I really appreciate any help I can get to learn! I've been sifting and walking creeks lately with only petrified wood and an occasional flake found. But trying to find a good spot to dig a little when it gets cooler and water is to cold to walk creek. In between days I deer and hog hunt of course. Ha ha
That's right, hunting season slows things down for us a litle bit too. I can tell you it is harder to find a good spot than you would think. We thought we knew where good spots would be but it turns out not every "good spot" had activity on it. We may find a few flakes and maybe a couple points but nothing spectacular but that just means we have to keep looking.
You guys always find awesome artifacts! We are along the Ohio river. Check out our videos.. Happy hunting.
Thanks. I'll check it out.
I need a shirt u guys sale them
Thanks. Yes we do sell them. Go to our Facebook page and look at the colors and sizes we have. Some are sold out but I haven't had time update the page yet.
Hey big guy!!!!! Once again, your videos are fantastic!! But do me a favor,. Watch the vid I just made and tell me if u think the artifacts I found last week on a new Creek are legitimate?? U guys are one of my favorites on RUclips,, so your knowledge would mean alot to me!!!!🙏🙏🎃💯
