I distinctly remember him quitting RUclips, sounding dejected and miserable, no enthusiasm, no hint of life in his voice, and then he came back with a DiRT rally video. The comments were overwhelmingly supportive. And he only went up from there. He’s earned every shred of success and happiness he’s gotten

I love how jimmy, even while boy racing, is doing all the gestures my nan would do to other cars when driving down country roads.
I'm personally not a fan of all the gestures, although it is good to see his passion.

Romain Grosjean broke some bones in his hand from some gravel that got kicked up by someone ahead of him last season at the Nurburging. It's rocks, at 1-2 hundred km/h. It's gonna do some damage.
The fact that he shows himself driving in the bottom left corner then shows the front facing view in the main feed seems like such a great callback to him doing this exact same thing, but in the sim!
Just missing the chat sound effects. Imagine being in the pits and just hearing MASSIVE ASS through the radio.

Little tip from a circle track guy, pull your headphone wire through the visor hole, prevents you from unplugging them when adjusting belts and moves it out of the way in general. Love the content 😊

I genuinely thought real life racing might be a bit boring cos of the basic cars, but this is genuinely just as good as your whacky sim racing content. Definitely continue doing it. It makes the whole racing scene so much more approachable too, seeing all these people most of which are hobby racers, some are upstarts, some doing it for fun, some professionally, it's a lot of fun especially with the behind the scenes bits.

It's gotta feel good though, driving in the cold, with the slight chill on your hands and eyes while hearing the exhaust notes. Reminds me of driving home through the mountains in college during winter break with a modified Integra GSR. After the terrible 2020, it has to feel good being outside!

I've only been here since the beginning of 'rona, but I am really enjoying seeing your career take off in multiple directions. Once we get past this whole thing I would love to see you come across the pond and set a lap time in something ridiculous around the Freedom Factory.
Our boi have the technique but not the car compatible with it. But for this driving class, Jimmer proved that a quick/good driver is more valuable than a quick/good car. Im really proud of you, Jimmy. Best wishes!

Honestly, I think driving this thing will probably be good practice for the Praga, as presumably you'll be great on the brakes and the corners, but lacking in straight-line speed.
Shout-out to Hero Marshall - the orange army do an absolutely incredible job week in week out, and Motorsport just wouldn't be the same without them.
