That's a really nice looking watch for a daily beater at a terrific price. It's amazing how many great choices there are for a watch that you can rely on with respectable specs and presentation. As always your review was detailed and objective. There was a time when only high end watches deserved a deeper dive into their specs and pricing. Now we have so many pieces available within reach and I appreciate channels like yours that take the time and attention to help us make educated purchases.
I've had mine about a month and absolutely love it, great accuracy and it's remarkably comfortable. The quality is VERY impressive for the price. My only gripe about this (and most Addiesdive watches) is the case back, as the logo is VERY sharply etched and extremely scratchy to the point of where the back of my wrist became very sore, but after 5 - 10 minutes smoothing down with some sandpaper, it's now VERY nice to wear. Addiesdive really MUST sort out their case backs.
Just tried my first Addiesdive, the AD2030 "sand dial" version. Normally would never have given this brand a second look but the combination of a really enthralling dial with a unique mecha quartz movement gave me a moment to pause. I can say I am very impressed now that I have it sized and on wrist. This company is making real bangers despite some of the issues people have with the logo etc. For the money you are paying, really brings into question just how much money is being spent on other brands for marketing, and storefronts. Yes these designs of course are pure homage so its not as though they have to put in much in conceptual design but, I find they seem to be better about providing proper proportioned watches more often than not which does show intent and effort.
I ha e a couple of Addiesdive including this one. Shipped quick and always satisfied. I. Happy enough with leather straps as if one thing falls down its often in the clasp or bracelet on the cheap watxhes.
Great review. I was able to snag this for $46.00 a while back during an AliX sale. Tremendous value. I've been wearing it quite a bit too. Comfortable, legible, great lume...What's not to like?
A great watch. I've had this for a while now. Don't remember what I paid back then, but was wery pleased with what I got for the money. As usual mostly with Addiesdive IMO. Great review as usual.
I agree 100% with your opinion! Nice review with no detail missing, thanks for that! I caught it for 29 Euros, one week AFTER the 11.11.-Sale plus a miiled clasp for under 3 Euros and a Fliegerstyle leather for 12 Euros, Sooo happy with it 👍👍👍
Had this watch for long time now and it's really very very good, the fit is absolutely amazing. Didn't like the bracelet so I swapped it on to a black mesh strap which is seems to really suit it. Have had it on leather and rubber too and it seems to suit everything. Not sure where the term came from, but this is definitely a 'Fliegerdiver'! Thanks for the reminder that I need to wear it a bit more.
I used to own the blue one. The blue AR wasn't an issue on that watch. The watch itself was excellent. However, I recommend ordering one of these milled clasps along with the watch for as little as 6 Dollars.
Nice thorough review 👍 I suspect this case is used by Tandorio and possibly other brands, but the Addiesdive lume looks a lot better and it is amazing they include a decent bracelet for the money.
Ok I've always wondered what differentiates a flieger of this style (Type A) from a field watch? A Type B flieger I get, it is an iconic look. A Citizen Nighthawk, Seiko Flightmaster or Breitling Navitimer I get - again flight complications and iconic. Even a GMT/ Worldtime I get i.e. Glycine Airman. But this design always looks to me just like a regular watch but with sword hands ... now I know it is just my personal taste ... and that there is heritage behind this style, however to me because it looks so generic this just doesn't do it for me stylistically. That said I have been happy with my Addiesdive in the past so if you like the look I would say that this could be a good pickup.
I've had this watch for some time, but sold it. It was my second alix watch right after cadisen c1032. Cannot agree on bracelet not pulling hairs and dial color looked very off. I think the blue ar coating didnt go well with this dial. Also the dimentions worked at most so so with my wrist. But I see you have much different experience here. If anybody else could comment I would be interested to read your experiences.
Overall it's quite impressive but man - I just can't wear a pilots watch that has a logo of dive goggles and spears on it! Maybe they need an equivalent to Steeldive's "steelflyer"... perhaps "Addiesfly" or something lol

Does the logo bother you
I don't any but the logo gives me icks

Tremendous value.

I just got this. One part I actually like better then the IWC is that the addiesdive date window is closer to the edge which keeps the symmetry.
Great review. Just picked up one of these for £17 inc. taxes and shipping in the sale. Milled clasp is ready to go once the watch arrives!

Got one without the logo. Works just fine. The pseudo leather plastic strap is rdiculous though.
I have green one for more than year now , its a great everyday watch , great loom and love that long white second hand , good video .

I didn't want one, till i watched your video...

I have this watch. I bought it on a sale for only $42 delivered. It is a great watch especially for that price.

One of the first watches I ever bought on alli express. Still wear it
Nice M2. I’m thinking of buying the Cronos Type A, but maybe I will get this and a new clasp and save a few bucks. Thanks!

Lo tengo hace más de 1 año y lo encuentro un excelente ejemplar.
Fantastic watch,i dont know how they do it?
Very Great Watch.
That’s a beauty, but I agree with others that they need to undergo a rebrand of the name and the logo!
wonderful watch.
great value watch
Nice. I wish they had skipped the date. It would have looked so much better.
Thank you for sharing! 🙂 👍
@ShinyThings what do you think about it as a field watch?
Overall it's quite impressive but man - I just can't wear a pilots watch that has a logo of dive goggles and spears on it! Maybe they need an equivalent to Steeldive's "steelflyer"... perhaps "Addiesfly" or something lol
Lol 🙂
When it was first available I got one and the logo just said “Addies”. Simpler and no nonsense.
Wonder if there is one without the Addiesdive logo which I don’t like
Yes there is - without logo AND brand name.
They need a new logo. Love their watches. But that mishmash of fins, diving cylinders, spearguns, and the mask is bloody awful.
