thx for posting this. peters is a truly nice chap and fucking rips. people that have a problem with him are just pissed angry because they actually sit and weep when people like him dominate and smash all the lines and kits that other riders are pulling off. it is very difficult for anyone to keep up with a man like peters...he rules the punk rock and the skateboarding wastelands. a legend for sure. folks that don't like him and don't know him are jealous twits. cheers. oi-tms

Duane is a great Generation X Punk Skater/Musician and local to me another with less fame. We are grown men of age and still punk. I was proud to have US Bombs play the club in Zooport a few times on my Friday night at The Thunderbird shut down after much time trying with the shity counsel being residents of Via Lido Island there for 15 or 20 years in that some of or the most $$$ real estate in the USA :O and :). Still Punk and Proud as is the master Duane Peters and vert/bowl skating is by far #1!!!! I love some of the great secret pools like The Orange Bowl I skated so much and met some pro skaters and skated with Agent Orange as well. Have a photo of it framed on my wall. Street skating was when the skate parks closed due to sewing parents bullshit, I and my friends found pools built half pipes and drain ditches to skate not streets.

i do agree with you but duane gets a pass, by the time rodney was "rodney" duane was in junkie/prison land, even though rodney should be one of the names mentioned for that question at all times, daune dosent count,he was kickin dope in prison when "street" was being born ,plus back then duane probably hated freestyle and there for never thought to much of street style,(just guess'n). well ,i tried to make excuses for peters but really... rodney should always be mentioned , what im really saying is daune didnt forget about rodney ,hes jus f'n old school before we coined it old school. dude probably thinks flip tricks are over done but at the same time "loves" all the diff types of skating going on now, im 38 so i know a lot of these older dudes. i hate to say it but a lot of em are narrow minded towards other skaters different from them...well younger that them anyway
