But AG has already established himself as you said as a producer through so many other projects, you know this guy knows how to make music. So I feel that this project was much more intentional and experimental as an experience, which I think you agree it is based on your review. And if he had gotten rid of some of the tracks then how would we have 7 albums with 7 songs each so perfectly? that’s no reason to keep bad music on a project but the AUDACITY of Cook and the obvious fun he had with this is fucking cool. Hello, a longtimeapersonfan here; I'm a big fan of Charli XCX, 100 gecs and Dorian Electra. Among others Kero Kero Bonito or The Voidz. I hope you see this Fantano, this album is so good and so long that I keep going to my favorite tracks before discovering new tracks that I start enjoying. The songs, if you want to call them songs, are so compact, that it's almost like I'm playing DJ and moving A.G. Cooks fingers. Love the album. 6
If he released these as 7 mini albums 1 a week like kanye did in 2018 with the 5 albums he worked on, it would have been seen as a much bigger and more important deal
I had to stop the minute you said how much you didn't like Soft Landing. Like this and Illuminated Biker Gang are the highlights of Supersaw disc for me.
I was so hyped for this album release but agree with the 6/10. Most of these songs seem like great potential, but not fully realized. Hopefully a lot of artists will pick up the pieces and make remixes with vocals or something to lift this album out from 6/10 to 10/10 which is what this guy is capable of.

I hope you see this Fantano, this album is so good and so long that I keep going to my favorite tracks before discovering new tracks that I start enjoying. The songs, if you want to call them songs, are so compact, that it's almost like I'm playing DJ and moving A.G. Cooks fingers. Love the album. 6
If he released these as 7 mini albums 1 a week like kanye did in 2018 with the 5 albums he worked on, it would have been seen as a much bigger and more important deal

I was so hyped for this album release but agree with the 6/10. Most of these songs seem like great potential, but not fully realized. Hopefully a lot of artists will pick up the pieces and make remixes with vocals or something to lift this album out from 6/10 to 10/10 which is what this guy is capable of.

did not anticipate you reviewing another nearly 3 hour album after Kamasi’s The Epic (in fact was not even aware of any notable 3 hour projects being released since it), and especially to only it enjoy at a level of 6/10, but i guess you committed and here we are. respectable. not sure if i would be willing to listen to this full thing, even a Swans record takes some scheduling to listen to.
