    Yo, I will try it too. I bought some parts to upgrade my bike and I don't wanna get in trouble with the cops.

    It must be different laws in Ireland than England. Here it must have pedals and the motor is only to assist 🤷‍♂️

      Ya usually we copy UK laws but for whatever reason this is different. We made escooters legal too so this would be classed more like that without pedals and no assist

    i don' t know why, but in my case it doesn't work if i limiting the positive wire as shown in diagram.

      Like it doesn't make a difference at all? I had to turn the screw in about 30 times before it started limiting my bike if that helps

      It doesn't make differrence, but i solved it in different way. I connected center terminal (2)to controllers green wire, left (1) to ground, right(3) to green wire from hall sensor and than it started working well 😊

    Do you know if this would work with one of those 80cc 2stroke kits for a normal bicycle?

    • @RHauto
      @RHauto  21 день назад

      No sorry it won't. It's hard to limit a 2 stroke engine because it needs high rpms to produce power. You could limit it in other ways but it might make it run really bad

      @@RHauto ah fair enough. I was trying to see if I could make a non-license/taxed motorised bike by abiding by the 25km cap, but do you know if so long as you don’t go over the 25kmh is it grand? Or does it have to be unable to do over 25 to be able to ride without a license. No worries if you havnae a clue anyways

      @@clipsnalletc not sure which country you are in, but in Ireland the 25kph rule applies only to electric bikes, so a 2 stroke bicycle would need to be licensed and taxed to be legal here even if it only does 20kph max speed. The 2strokes are very loud too and they attract alot of attention, so I think electric motor is a better option

      @@RHauto ah ye sorry should’ve clarified I’m in Ireland as well. That’s a shame to hear, but thanks for the help

      Ya if I had a v5 I could probably insure it like a surron I think. I'll have to make it proper fast first tho 😂
