This interview reminds me of a sociological study I read about women in the workplace (early 1980’s) in which word counts of business meetings at mid management level were studied. How many words did females of equal managerial rank to the males utter in a professional business meeting vs. males? When females spoke 20% of the number of words as males the males later reported they perceived that the females had spoken too much.
