I would add one thing to the design... I would add a bottom with a lip, so that the water vessel can be put in easily, but also taken together with the vase when it's time to replace the water.🙃

Did the clay fall too much? In the video where I make the vase with white spots I form the clay differently, that could help, thank for watching

That’s really nice! I recently bought some air clay after watching you. Now I am on the hunt for an inexpensive rolling pin. I have some tools and a work surface ready. I studied ceramics in college so I’m excited to try air dry clay.

That turned out so beautifully. I’m wondering if alcohol inks could be used to colour the raw white clay. If so, imagine the possibilities!

How fun!.!!. Do you think if it was a complete vase finished with resin that the resined vase could hold water instead of using a separate container?
I really would think so, although with anything like this is always say not for prolonged lengths of time and keep checking it after a while, thank you

tried to do it with my students (7th and 8th grades). they were totally unimpressed, and really didn't cooperate with me. so none succeeded - that was not a good day.
but then I remembered your vid on recycling bought ADC, so I took the failures with me, recycled them, and got a wonderful baby blue clay.
one of my nieces (we have 12 of those 🤭) just had a baby boy, so I used that clay to make a mobile and a brooch for the pram. she's showing them off to everyone and not letting her friends have my number cause she wants her stuff to be one of a kind 😹
oh well, my ego is so tickled, I'll be fine with finding my own clients

Hi Sarah, it looks like The Works is completely out of coloured Das clay, they seem to have the terracotta, stone and white right now. I tried to find anyone with it but no one had it. I'm sad about that tbh. Thanks for sharing your idea with us tho I might use inks and mica and see how dark I can get the White Das, your vase idea is brilliant, and I hope you don't mind me making a vase like that for myself. And thanks for the video, I had no idea Das had coloured clay, I have tried colouring it in the past but it always ends up as pale, pastel colours, which is frustrating, so this coloured Das is going to be a game changer for everyone. I love the little tiles like terrazzo. It doesn’t look like we can get the color Das in the US
Thanks, mixing a bit of paint or dye with some white clay and knead it together well, it won’t be so dark but it will be beautiful 🤩
I think I found some at the Blick art stores online. I will check our local shop here to see if they have it as well.
@ as you could see in the video it is much firmer than air dry clay but is fun to try as something new 😊❤️

Yes, you’d need quite a bit, this just shows another product option that baby people haven’t seen
